Motel 6 Austin, TX - Airport - South

The housekeepers Hilda I'm hoping I'm say her name right and her sister here is so sweet. I see them working their butts off always asking if I need something trash towels. Then the room was so clean like I can actually take a bubble bath in the tub clean beds floors refrigerator. Will be coming back to this one just with a microwave in it though. I didn't have a Microwave and that's It! A week but we made it.

Bad

Nothing. Checked out as soon we checked in. Room was fairly decent for the price. Felt very unsafe. Saw a few homeless people in the property. The cars parked and people around were very shady. The security guard was completely glued to the security cameras while checking in which was really concerning.

Location Never got my room cleaned after my first night.

Nothing The overwhelming smell of cleaner. It was so strong we had to leave the door open for a while. Room was Definitely no where near the pictures. It'd be wise to go room by room and and give the bathrooms a makeover. The vending area smelled like cat poo as well

The location was nice right off the highway. Very central location. I didn’t like the the fact that our toilet didn’t work at all. I called the front desk on our way to our event and they told us they’d send someone to look at it. We got back to the room and it still didn’t work so all night we either had to leave to find a restroom or just hold it. When checking out we spoke to them about it and they told us they’d had given us another room and moved our stay but we were not informed at all. They lied and said that the front desk told us they gave us another room whenever we came in to tell them about the restroom but we didn’t go in we called and he was supposed to call back and didn’t. I asked for a refund since our stay wasn’t up to par and they lied on top of that but they gave me the run around , wouldn’t stay here again workers don’t seem to know much and the manager isn’t reachable. I didn’t like the fact that the parking lot was kind of sketchy with cops driving around pretty often just looking around.

I did not feel safe there. The deadbolt to my door was busted. Shady part of town.

I got a room with a refrigerator it took them three times to find a room. The water drained really slow in the sink and shower. Sheets were dingy looking
