Residence Inn by Marriott Hartford/Windsor

The room was nice with a kitchen and couch. The only issue was a small low toilet which is probably not compliant with the American Disability Act. The breakfast was nice and the staff is friendly. The bed was nice as well.

The property has not been maintained. The linens were very worn and uncomfortable. The room appeared clean but then I got some water on the floor in the bathroom and I used a towel to mop it up and the towel turned black with dirt when I wiped up the floor. The person who checked us in Mike I believe was his name was very friendly and helpful. The other staff seemed put off when asked about things.

Room was spacious and clean and they accommodate our last minute request of early check in very smoothly as well. Really appreciate it!

Location was good, breakfast fairly good, rate reasonable, room very large and comfortable. The room and facilities needs routine maintenance, breakfast could offer a bit more variety, and staff was neutral on service. Ran out of bathroom accessories the day we checked in, had to go to front desk and pick up replacements.

This property does not align with the name Residence Inn by Marriot. I was very disappointed with the overall experience.

The room was spacious and clean. Nice kitchen and workspace. Bathroom was very nice. The big drawback was the breakfast, or lack thereof. When I went to the dining room at 8, there was no food in the buffet. I waited about ten minutes and the staff supplied the free breakfast. The sausage sandwich was cold and there was some egg muffin like dish that was simply put… awful. So I had to settle for a lukewarm cup of coffee and then I headed to McD’s.

As for the room, though clean and comfortable enough, the paint on the shower ceiling was peeling. The blankets (especially the ones for the fold out bed) were very thin. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc.

Location was good Staff wasn’t pleasant, sofa bed had no bedding, mattress with stains. Phone wasn’t working so we had to go and ask for sheets and pillows. They didn’t have any more pillows available. Breakfast was ok. Pancakes and waffles were frozen.

The outside of the hotel looks nice when you pull up to go to your room the stairs are not well maintained it is run down our room smelled like cigarettes and it was very dingy but clean would recommend for a quick overnight stay but anything more than one day would be way too much
