I've stayed here several times over the last 15 years or so. This has become my go-to spot due to its location near the Monterey Fairgrounds and because they tend to be very reasonably priced. Not cheap, but far from the most expensive in the immediate area. Everything went well with this most recent stay; no complaints.

We liked that it was near a lot of local restaurants, stores, and the Monterey Fairgrounds (for those who attend the Monterey Jazz Festival on a yearly basis)... And a lot of them are within walking distance. Also, Pacific Grove is not too far from the hotel There was an eerie humming sound from the adjacent room next to us and it kinda affected our sleep quality a bit. Also the mattress was a little too firm

Easy and pleasant check-in. Very clean room with two extremely comfortable beds. Easy access to fairgrounds for jazz festival.

Quiet and comfortable. Parking gets tricky and it is hard to get out of the property when all spaces are occupied. Pet friendly with dining nearby. Good value in terms of room pricing.

We had a King room on the second floor, which is outside entry up stairs. The stairs were clean and well maintained. Entry is by keypad, which worked well for us. Staff was helpful and friendly on checkin. The room came with a microwave and mini-fridge/freezer and th AC worked well. It was very clean and well maintained. The amenities were correct for the room (product dispensers in the shower (3) and by the sink (2), towels (2 sets), tissue, luggage rack, ironing board, etc). These rooms have been renovated relatively recently (a few years) and have been very well maintained so far. The rooms here are well above average quality for lower cost motels in this immediate area and we will continue to return so long as they continue to maintain the property so well.

Conveniently located to my concert location. it's obvious that the hotel has done some updating, but unfortunately, they were done shabbily and cheaply. The new laminate flooring that was used was buckling and uneven, the finishes with paint and caulking was terrible. The bathroom smells like mildew and wasn't clean adequately.

Clean, renovated rooms, walking distance to fair grounds (10-15 mins), motel-style hotel. Would go there again.

Stayed overnight while on a two-day cycling trip down to Big Sur. The hotel was clean and well-appointed. I appreciated that there is a 7-Eleven within a few minutes' walk, and a local coffee shop is right next to the hotel. There are restaurants close to the hotel, but I wasn't interested in walking that far, so I used Uber Eats.

Clean room ok location. They include ear plugs should you need them. Parking is terrible and tight. They will tell you to park in the restaurant parking when they get full. The restaurant does not like that. Speaking of, I did like the restaurant (grandma's). Food was good and service also. A benefit to the hotel.

Room was well designed and thoughtfully laid out with plenty of space and privacy. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed with nice bedding. Nice staff. Close to all amenities. No road noise heard. Nothing

This is a very clean place. I stayed a second night because it was that good.
