Red Roof Inn & Suites Monterey

very poor furnishings - very basic bathroom and shower - pretty cramped toilet (toilet and sink too close) - coffee maker very basic all plastic....couch that is worn and tired...

The room was always super clean and the environment was so welcoming. Will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Arrived to the hotel which had some large pot holes you have to weave around, but staff was inviting and informative. Unfortunately left the room during checkout and noticed a lot of flea bites on my legs and on clothes. Had to completely deep clean everything from the trip including the car

The room is super small, right by the airport. Thankfully, it's not a super busy airport, so there aren't many flights.

The rooms were the same as the pictures Our smoke alarm went off from the steam from the bathroom

Don’t expect much and you wont be disappointed.

Clean Room with a balcony and fireplace. Use both of them to full benefit. Close to many shopping and eating places. Walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to friends. Came especially for the County Fair which was walking distance from Red Roof. No parking hassle. Would book again.

Dirty floors dirty tables dirty spa tub broken amenities such as fire place didn't work water pressure was lowin shower only hot for. 5 minutes after that it was barley Luke warm

Really rough motel in a rundown area. We booked 4 nights but only stayed one night. Then we changed to a nicer hotel and area. Super disappointed

We came in with a 31' trailer and we were nervous about leaving it unattended. they did have accomodations for the trailer. We asked if we could change rooms to be next to it and it was vacant. the lady at the front said, Yes they would be happy to move us. She came back shortly after stating we could not have it as it was reserved 9same exact room layout) we had 500k worth of trailer, bikes and vehicle and we wanted to keep an eye on it out of the window due to the area. We moved closer to Carmel to a lovely place. The did refund the remaining days to us.

easy access. The hotel needs better security and noise level control.

There were ants in the bed as well in the jacuzzi tub.

The only downside was that coffee was not available in the lobby until after 8 o'clock most mornings.

All 3 of my rooms moved 3 times my first room the kitchen was leaking gas I was moved and ten minutes later I seen that they moved someone elsei in it my second room was my daughter in there she had ants on the bathroom floor and roaches .

The room was exactly the same as on the website. Actually better than I anticipate. It was clean and well maintained. Parking was very good. The location was great. It was close to everything. The staff was very friendly especially the young lady who checked me in. I would definitely stay here again.
