Holiday Inn Irving Las Colinas by IHG

Very clean room. Staff very friendly. Perfect location for the trip we went on.

Rooms were okay

Location I liked that it had an actual full bar

Location and price Walls were kind of dirty. Pool was dirty. Toilet didn’t work well

NA

My stay was excellent. It was right across the interstate from the venue. Only negative is,, the shuttle should run later than 10pm. Other than that it was a great start

No bfast

The room was very clean. Hotel offers free shuttle in a 3 miles radius which was awesome since we were going to a concert at Toyota Music Factory. We didn't have to worry about parking or Uber. After, we walked back and it was a safe, well lit paved walk way. Overall, excellent experience!

Cleanness That shuttle stops at 9:30pm should be extended until midnight

The pool looked dirty

Very good

Location was great. Some staff was friendly and some was ok. Ms Jackie the bartender was excellent. She was knowledgeable of the area, provided great restaurants selections, and was overall the friendliest employee we meet. The breakfast was also good everything was cooked fresh and tasted good. I didn't like that we didn't have an ice machine on our side of the second floor. We had to go to the first floor just to obtain ice. Also the pool area needs to be maintained better bugs was all over the pool couldn't really enjoy it. Exercise room needs to be updated also.

Exceptional

The front desk staff were super nice both the evening and morning staff Killed a wasp, roach and daddy long legs in the room. The humidity in the room was also terribly damp. The bedding almost felt wet. I wont stay in a balcony room again. It also kind of smelled like moth balls that was covered in spray to mask it that was super strong.

Good

It was an older but nice property. Breakfast should be free, especially for the $145 I paid per room. Fitness room was very nice and so was the pool but the water was too cold for me. The staff were very kind and professional, especially Daphne and the lady who was working the front desk when I checked in so 3 to 11. Location was excellent. I felt very safe.

The snack bar was convenient and fairly priced The hall to the room didn’t have ac and it was very hot The hall carpet smelled like it was never washed The room seemed cleaned until you noticed all the mosquitoes in the room flying around. Once you start chasing it around to kill it you’ll start noticing all the dead squashed mosquitoes on the walls in every room section. There were 3 mosquitoes at night which caused me to have a bad night. I left the room and came back later in the afternoon just to find the balcony door wide open and now 8 mosquitoes in the room. I don’t think I will be coming back to this mosquito infested hotel.
