Good Location for visiting Carlsbad Caverns.

Theroom was clean and well-prepared. The bed was very comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep. Enjoyed the biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

Large number of rooms available on an older property. Nice to have the pool and laundry available even if I didn't use them. On-site lounge and restaurant were excellent and decent morning hot breakfast. Excellent staff.

Clean comfortable rooms that were quite large. It was nice having the sink separate from the bathroom area. The cooked warm breakfast buffet is Rarity. The ice makers are kind of out of date and need to be updated and stocked. Overall a good hotel but it needs a update needs to have a remodel done .

The staff is super helpful, rooms are spacious, facility is huge so we walked around with no issues for outdoor exercise, laundry room, exercise room, restaurant ( we did not eat there other than breakfast buffet, which is fine) I noticed loads of people do come there for dining & the bar. I do recommend this hotel, great location & value.

It’s a good place for us to stay because it’s half way to our cabin. The was not good. Under cooked and cold.

This is a good hotel with nice size rooms. The breakfast is excellent, to the side of the restaurant. You can eat off the buffet or ask for a menu. And the hotel is only about a half hour to the caverns.

This was a good place to stay. It's an older hotel but well maintained. Beds were comfy and room was larger than a usual hotel room. We liked the hot breakfast bar (included) at their restaurant

Much more than we expected for the rate. Love the historic nature of the place and the fact that it was renovated and preserved. Very clean, accommodating. Nice pool experience. Loved the roominess and the vaulted ceiling in the room - not experienced that before in a regular motel or hotel. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Breakfast was horrible and the staff juat sit around and will and eat. No drinks the coffee was cold and the lady was just sitting and eating. Breakfast area way to small.

Having lived in Carlsbad for 50 years, and returning for a quick visit, it was disappointing to see the outside maintenance has gone down so far. The Stevens was always immaculate and a desirable place to stay and dine.

Yes this is an older property but the way they maintain the Landscaping and the pool and it has nice new windows it is worth it we so enjoyed our stay. We will stay there again!!!! Oh and we love the location of our room it was right off until the grass and we had two small dogs so it worked out perfect
