Our stay was good. Clean room, parking was nice. Breakfast was good

The size and there was enough space. The first room we went to was way back it was difficult to get to because of the overgrown bushes and carrying our luggage. Once we made it up the stairs we stepped into a filthy sauna. The room was dirty and the ac was measuring at 88 degrees. We readjusted the ac and waited a little bit. The temperature stayed the same . I called the front office , we explained the issue and they had us do the hike back down stairs to the office to swap rooms. The front desk lady tried to give us another room that was in the back and would be another challenging time to get to. The second room had a broken door and the lock seemed to have been comprised by a recent forced entry. The room was full of dust , and there were stains everywhere. The room smelled of smoke and dust. It was late and the front desk ladies attitude was not very kind or helpful , she said if I wanted to do somewhere else I would have to talk to booking to get a refund. When I explained my frustrations and that this was unexexeptable, we paid a 250.00 dollar deposit for the room , wich they do not tell you about until you get there, we expect a clean funtional room. She said was unapologetic and said, we have other rooms. At that point we realized it was late and this was the kind of establishment this once very nice hotel had become we went to bed very unhappy. The next day my co-workers and I cleaned and disinfected the room ,so that we didn't have to tolerate the terrible oder. My husband and I had used the facility in the past and it was a little outdated ,but clean and offered everything we needed in good working order.I became one of our favorite places to stay with our children, we felt safe, and it was had decent accommodations. The staff was kind and they offered a decent breakfast. This experience was embarrassing and sad ,we my co-workers and I went to breakfast the omelets were burnt and I mean burnt . It is so disappointing because when I think Sonesta I think quality and home like.

Carpet looked a little outdated. And toilet seat was loose, toilet whined abit after being flushed - general signs of an older property but very clean. Overall good value for the price. Staff at night was not very warm - kinda harsh and short attitude. Could be friendlier.

Bad

I appreciated the wide selection of TV channels, including HBO. However, the futon was dirty, with crumbs in the creases, and it wasn’t comfortable at all. It tilts easily and feels unstable. We even found the TV remote tucked inside the futon, which wasn’t there when we checked in. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly, and the room itself is still quite good, especially with the kitchen included. The location is excellent, with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall, despite a few issues, I would consider staying here again.

I like the full size kitchen with coffee maker and toaster All was good.

Hair all in the tub and the tub walls were dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned

The room smelled like a dog peed everywhere. The shower curtain smelled like urine. The bathtub was dirty. The remote control did not work. And the front desk associate was rude when checking me in.
