Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Richmond Airport

Fairfield is always very nice and a pleasant and comfortable place to stay. The amenities are available and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We always enjoy our stays here and haven’t had to address any issues, as there have none.

Breakfast was free and it was delicious, staff was friendly and helpful, room was spacious and clean, parking was free and plenty of spaces to park

Room was clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good and the options were many.

The room was clean but small and poorly organized for travelers. We stayed 4 days and never saw housekeeping. There were no garbage bags in our trash cans when we arrived and our garbage was overflowing when we left. There were 2 ice machine for the whole hotel and 1 was broke. There were 2 elevators and 1 was broken. Our toilet was running and when we reported it to the front desk the clerk told us “Hey, it’s not my hotel.”But the hotel WAS clean although I’m not sure how they kept it clean since we saw no housekeepers.And clean is super important to us.

The property was fine for an overnight stay but our room smelled badly like cigarette smoke…

the only coffee in my room was 1 pack of decaf and that was a big strike against the property as I look forward to a quiet cup of coffee in my room when I get up So 2 big strikes in my book

The staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast was good with a variety of selections for on-the-go breakfast and dining options. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Very friendly staff

I needed shuttle to airport and was told when checking in that started running @ 4:30am every 30 minutes upon checking out went to desk at 8:00am requested service and was told it would be 9:00 before I could go my flight stated boarding at 9:27. It just happened my friend came back to check on me and took me to airport and I made flight on time if not for him I was going to call an uber

Friendly staff and clean property

THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST!!! Take a breath! Let’s go. I’ve been here 3 times and the reason why it’s been convenient is because it’s close to my mother and I can bring my dog. The first time I stayed at this hotel it was great no complaints, great. The last time I stayed was around Mother’s Day and my key was not working to open the door so I kept getting locked out and had to keep waiting on someone to fix my door which became very annoying, my husband gets up early for breakfast and I sleep in so I would continually have to get out of bed to let him in! Now recently, Mind you we drove all the way from New York to Richmond Va to celebrate man Mother’s 60th birthday party and we reached the hotel at 12am, they gave us the key to our room and it was locked with the metal lock on top! Someone was already in there! It put us in an extremely dangerous situation, what if that person pulled out a gun? What if if was the other way around? Robbed? Killed? Anything thing could have happened! We proceeded to go back downstairs and tell them and why does the receptionist tell us they gave our room away that we already booked previously?!? Then says he would have to clean another room because there’s no more available rooms clean??? Mind you it’s 12am we are tired! Been driving for over 6hours! Finally he gets us a room and the second day after that the hotel proceeds to call us and harass us about only saying we were only booked for 3 days and we should be checked out, I sent proof!

The room was great. The staff was good. When we checked in we weren't given an explanation about how to log onto the Wi-Fi or any information about the pool or gym availability times. The other thing I had an issue with is that there was no ice downstairs and the dining area didn't have hot water after for tea. Overall we had a nice stay.

I don't have anything negative to say. The front staff was very helpful and even recommended places since this was our first time here. The room was clean and spacious. I love the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.
