Hampton Inn & Suites Richmond - Downtown

Staff was rarely at the desk each time we needed something. Nightly fee for two dogs was more than the hotel cost. Remote did not work, window shades were broken, very little hot water, wallpaper peeling off walls, faucet and shower mounted backwards, lightbulbs burnt out in room

Breakfast was HORRIBLE 1st room 1801 had a very NASTY BATHROOM ROOM 1216 was a better room, more convenient & comfortable

All around perfect stay. The parking is attached to the hotel. Spaces are small but there are plenty of them. You are greeted by delightful staff who seem genuinely joyful to help you. And I mean all of them. Even busy housekeeping staff takes the time to wish you a great day. The room itself was immaculately clean with great features and amenities. We had a fridge, a microwave, moveable ottomans/stools, and a safe. The bathroom was super clean as well with pullout shelves that were unique and definitely a plus. We were in town for a show at the National and the location was a brief walk away and we felt safe. Our stay was 10/10, plus efficient and affordable. We look forward to staying again.

I liked everything about my stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was great and breakfast was very good. I would stay again if necessary. There really wasn't anything I didn't like.

Breakfast Room wasn't clean. Loud AC and you can hear through walls. Weird elevator setup with multiple lobbies. Expensive.

We love everything about this hotel. The location and the staff are amazing. It is our go to hotel anytime we come to Richmond. The only thing that I did not like was that our room did not have curtains that closed. So when the sun came up it shined directly into our room, making it hard for us to sleep in.

It was a great hotel. We were there for a wedding!

The only thing that was a problem was our room door didn’t close properly and you had to pull it shut and really put your weight into it to open it.

Front of staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Not rooftop Lounge where you could see the city from 365 °, Magnifique! No hot water in the shower but maintenance was sent quickly to fix it water was not spoiling hot but it wasn't cold either great fix was able to shower!
