Motel Puyallup

This is an old property. But it is clean and completely adequate. It is in a decent state of repair. The room was small but it offered everything we wanted. We wanted something simple and within walking distance to the state fairgrounds, both of which Motel Puyallup is. Had we wanted all sorts of extras we could have stayed at another hotel (for considerably more money) just across Meridian from the Motel Puyallup but why? Our destination was the state fair and all we wanted was a clean room, good bed, and a shower. That we got a good price.

Room may not have been filthy, but wasn't really clean either. Crusty "stuff" in lights above bath sink. Room just quickly brushed up, not cleaned. Breakfast wasn't ready at 7:30 as advertised. They were just starting to get things out at 7:40 and there were people waiting ahead of us. We just left. Management seemed quite disorganized. Tried to call and find out what time the office might close for checking in and got a answering machine at 6pm, so had to drop what we were doing to go check-in. Not very impressed overall.

Location Hard to get any help and they locked up the ice machine before 10? It's not a pool..oh yes not one of those either.

This is the second time at this motel. It may not be the fanciest, but it's clean, well maintained, the bathroom is updated, the climate control works well and the beds are comfortable. I'll stay here again. We go here during the fair and the free parking alone is worth it

The owner was so rude to my ladies and his own employee! He would not remake the beds with clean sheets, and there was no offer to switch to another room. He would not allow the desk manager to give us 4 hand towels and 4 washcloths for four guests! (Only two of each!) So half of our party went to another nearby hotel. There was only 1 room available, or all of us would have left!!

Motel staff, cleanliness and location were good, actual building needs a lot of work. Holes punched in walls and leaking pipes. Hopefully they can make some improvements

Horrible service, horrible smell that...

No water when we got there, then only cold, the bed slowed down toward the head so we had to sleep the opposite way. The coffee in the room was horrible. There is no light in the backside of the motel so couldn't see our things. Didn't dare look at the breakfast. The only good thing was it was a short walk to the pavilion for a concert. Both parties texted each other and said let's get out of this shithole.

Very convenient location.

Basic room that does not break the bank. There are no cooking pans so come with that if you plan to use a stove. The washer and dryer o. Property is a fantastic option. We were going on a cruise so all the clothing needed to be clean and ready. We appreciated the option to do laundry at the facility.

Staff were excellent, I felt safe and protected. I didn't get to talk to a lot of the staff, but the ladies at the desk were friendly, professional, and just plain awesome. I hope they're there the next time I visit!
