Red Roof Inn Savannah North I-95 – Port Wentworth

Clean room and no bugs, easy on and off the freeway, nearby restaurants and gas. All the noise from the trucks at the truck stop next door.

The location was the only good thing. The room smelled awful and was dirty. Cigarette stains on the bathtub. Walls and door was dirty. Cord to hairdryer disgusting. Sheets were scratchy. Wash cloth turned brown when wet.

Actually, NOTHING! The owner. He was rude and very unprofessional. I went to the desk after check in and requested a box of facial tissue. He refused, saying “Red Roof doesn’t require them.” He gave me the third degree when checking in when he asked if we had any pets. I told him yes, we had our dog traveling with us. Then he told us we should have disclosed that when making the reservation. He probably would have given us a lesser quality room, as if there was one. Our dog is probably cleaner than most of the people staying at this hovel. We will never stay here again, even though we travel back and forth to Florida frequently. The towels are the size of a postage stamp and poor quality. There were several repairs to the aging room, door hardware, bathroom vanity, etc. the place was a dump. Sorry, but it is true.

I don’t recall now. It was sufficient for the night. I believe the soap dispenser was empty and my husband had to call it in. And they refilled it.

The bathroom smelled like urine and the parking lot was full of trash.

It was good clean rooms good staff and great ac

Our room was clean and updated. The air conditioning/heater never stopped running but that turned out to be a good thing considering the traffic from the gas station next door for trucks. I would stay here again for a night for a place to sleep.
