We had high expectations and were looking forward to our stay . The room was very spacious and we slept well in the large bed. The room had two televisions. The receptionist did not tell us that , although we had a booking for a 'room with breakfast', we were actually allowed $30 worth of breakfast between us from the breakfast menu. This caused much embarrassment in the dining room as the 'Host' said it wasn't her job to help us and the young man waiting on us was quite vague about it. We were so uncomfortable that we left without breakfast. We were so hungry by the time we reached Deer Lodge , we were relieved to find K&M Breakfast Burgers open . Although not what we normally look for in a cafe/diner, the waitress here was very helpful, the portions were very generous and tasted delicious. The televisions in the room did not have instructions so we struggled to watch only one without the other which was displaying another channel at the same time. We are not technology dinosaurs either. We struggled to find a table in the restaurant for an evening meal so had to sit at the bar. We were travelling across America and stayed in a variety of hotels and this one stands out as the most unfriendly and frustrating.

Very friendly

Great property on the river/creek in central area. Bar/restaurant classy and great food. Deck on the River provides lovely scenery of the mountains.

Older property that has been cared for nicely, however, do not pay for breakfast in this hotel while booking online! The resturant is not connected to the hotel and I was supposed to receive a credit, but the staff never credited the breakfast. They claimed they would refund me at the front desk, however, that never happened. The resturant is poorly managed in the morning as there was a huge line with only half the tables being used. And the fact that the resturant cannot handle a breakfast credit is rediculous. I recommend staying just down the road at the Wren.

Cool weekend and we loved the river.
-
The hot tub was wonderful after sitting at the Griz game.
-
Parking gate wouldnt work ended up in valet parking. Check in took way too long.

We really enjoyed staying there for 3 nights. We had a balcony on the river side, worth the extra money. The staff is all really nice. Walking distance ti many restaurants and shopping .

This is my favorite place to stay in Missoula. 40 years ago I stayed at the Edge Water at least one day a week. The property has been remodeled, expanded and updated. Still my favorite place to stay. I really like the Riverside rooms.
-
That they charge for parking, though they waved it for us THIS TIME, they said. AND charging $2 for a bottle of water IN THE ROOM.

The hotel was great. Staff were also exceptional. My issue was with Expedia. I specifically chose the river room with a balcony and even paid more for it. When i checked in my expedia only showed king room, balcony. Nothing indicated it was a river view. My bad for not verifying the confirmation, but I specifically chose a river-view room in the room description, and it showed a river view in the room pics and unfortunately they were all booked by the time we checked in. Disappointing.

Great place

Loved the pool. Room was big bathroom was great. Staff didn’t give a ton of info and tried to go to the restaurant twice with no host ever helping us. Price seemed a little steep. Great location tho. Loved that we had a room that walked out to the pool. Awesome that it’s pet friendly even with our big dog.

My problem with this hotel was the parking charge of $20 per night. This for an open so-called lot with no security at all. When we left this morning I had to back out carefully because a homeless man was on the curb behind me.

Our room wasn’t ready at check in, and then had a strong cigarette smell when we opened the door. The lobby and pool area renovations nice, but the rooms just okay.
