Holiday Inn Downtown - Missoula by IHG

Great location (in the heart of downtown Missoula), clean new looking rooms, very quiet area - The showers were cold (even when turned to full hot) - I couldn’t stand being in it for more than a minute. - The light on the AC dial on the wall was so bright, we had to try and block it with clothes just to be able to sleep at night. - The toilet was also extremely loud when flushing so it would wake anyone else up nearby. - The walls seem like they are paper thin - you can hear people next door and upstairs so clearly. - When we brought up these issues with staff, it sounded like they were already aware of the problem so not sure why nothing has been done!

All was fine except I thought the pillows smelled like old man. I appreciated the free parking and the staff was extremely helpful.

Location in town is great for visitors! Close walk to nearby amenities, bars, restaurants, shops, etc. there was even a cute farmers market right behind the hotel on Saturday morning! Our room was clean and the bed was decently comfortable, but the only complaint was the light coming from the thermostat was SO BRIGHT. Haha, we had to put a towel over it, then a black Tshirt over that to block out the light, it was oddly bright. But otherwise, the hotel was fine!

Nice modern room. Great location. My only disappointment was that the "window" in the room looked out into a courtyard that was indoors. The view was a courtyard of other rooms' windows. I looked down into the dining area. When I opened the window I was letting in indoor air!! It felt a little like the Hotel California.

Location, free parking, clean, good breakfast Hot tub was shut down. Lobby smells like chlorine.

Great location. Excellent service . The room was fine except for a very noisy ac that drowned out the tv and couldn’t be turned off. They claim that it is going to be fixed. Breakfast buffet was mediocre, but there are good coffeehouses in walking distance.

About 12:45 am a reason storm came through and the window in or room leaked horribly. It was literally raining on the inside of our room. They would not refund when a portion of the cost for the unacceptable experience.

Atmosphere was comfortable as far as temperature and humidity. We were in town for a concert, so hotel rooms were at a premium, but I paid around 350 dollars, and breakfast was not included. This was a good location as far as being centrally located well within walking distance of eating and drinking establishments. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves.
