Staybridge Suites Long Beach Airport by IHG

We have stayed here many times. The breakfast was great during our most recent stay and the kids had a good time in the hot tub. The pool water is not heated and it was a bit chilly for our preferences, but that’s okay. The kitchen comes in handy and had everything we needed to make basic meals. We booked a room with a bathtub for the kids. Overall, I’d recommend the hotel. There were only two negatives and those were not dealbreakers. There was a small area of the kitchen counter that had not been cleaned before we checked in, which I quickly wiped down with a cloth. The decorative pillow on the couch was old and the zipper was broken on the cover. That pillow should be replaced or removed. Overall, the experience was good and the staff was friendly.

I LOVE that each room has an ice maker in the fridge and a pitcher because there is an amazing water unit in the lobby and you can just fill up your pitcher. Getting enough water while traveling is a task so it's greatly appreciated. The room is newly decorated and super clean. Both times I stayed cleaning was consistent. Clean always give a property the edge. Can't think of a single thing.

The breakfast was very well done. Hotel has made some updates, but in my bathroom, I tried to hang up my bath towel, the towel holder fell off the wall. The ice maker kept loudly making ice through the night. It didn’t have a switch to turn it off. The second night I put a hand towel over the ice previously made, which did make it quieter.

The breakfast was better than most hotels. The phones were not working for 3 nights so contacting the front desk required trips downstairs. The airport shuttle was not reliable. The wait was 45 minutes on arrival and failed to come at all for my departure even though I had confirmed with the front desk the time it was expected.

Ive stayed at alot of hotels and you'll by far exceeded all the others!! Everyone was super accommodating. I had some issues regarding my travel and you all helped me with everything I was worried about.

Very disappointed they don’t offer housekeeping service between stays. I was there 3 nights and no service at all was provided.

I would have given 5 stars except the breakfast buffet was cold. We got there as it opened, so everything was fresh, just cold.
