Holiday Inn Knoxville West- Cedar Bluff Rd by IHG

Great

Great location, close to UT, easy access off the freeway. Beds were comfortable, clean, nice to have a microwave in the room in addition to the mini fridge/freezer. This property is actually huge, there's an indoor basketball court and an indoor/outdoor pool. There is a very large bar/restaurant that offered good food & drinks. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we come to town for a game.

The bathroom area was very dingy looking. The elevator next to our room did not work. They did not have coffee available when we went down and then they pulled the coffee before we even finished breakfast. The breakfast was not anything like described and we did not even get breakfast the second day because it was so bad. The staff was not helpful at all and I had to ask for our breakfast passes and was only given one even though there were two of us....it was just very unorganized and not a very pleasant stay...the rooms were very stuffy and not well ventilated...smelled very "old" in the room.

Large hotel. Nice pool inside into outside. A little outdated rooms. Bathroom lights dull. Beds comfortable.

Clean facility

They took money for a stay that didn’t happen. Office manager didn’t return my call.

I didn't realize only certain rooms came with the breakfast meal. I didn't have to use the elevator but my daughter did and one wasn't working proper and no information stating it. wasn't working. The check in clerk seemed ruin and short. The beds were not comfortable, and air container didn't keep cool in the room. You could hear other guess like they were slamming doors. Tv did not work just right.

Checked in Friday night to a room that reeked of cigarette smell. The front desk stated it was a total booked night, so that was the only room. Next pulled the covers back to find a safety pin and 3 hair pins under the covers. So had the bed even been cleaned??? Next the shower drain totally stopped up and next thing you know you are ankle deep of water that won’t drain. Finally Saturday night returned to room late from a family function to a barking dog in the room near ours. Go to desk and they say probably was a dog out in parking lot. lol Sunday morning when checking out room two down from ours guest walks out of room with two dogs.

It was convenient for the event. The door didn’t automatically lock like it should if you didn’t pay attention when you entered the door was cracked.

Room was very nice and hotel was clean and staff very nice

The bathroom was a little strange. it seemed like it hadn't been updated in awhile.

Comfy beds, quiet, and reasonably priced

Room was definitely in 2 star condition. Rotten wood on tv stand, badly stained couch and worn out carpet. Microwave did not work and had to be replaced, no outlets and they were using a surge protection extension cord to allow for tv and items to work.
