The room was very small and the restroom toilet was for a child. It was short and little. I was disappointed.

The hotel itself was very old. The room was fairly clean, but there was noted mold on the ceiling above the shower. The furniture was worn out. There was rust on the shower rod. The tub didn’t drain right with the shower., So you’re standing in water while you’re trying to shower. We were disappointed.

Walked in room. Tripped on carpet torn up across threshold going in room. Got 2 beds which were 5 inches from wall and 2 feet between. Smallest room ever seen. Shower brackets were rusty. Bragged about seeing Mt. Rushmore. 1/2 of Washington's face. Worst parking ever. Nowhere to turn around. Won't stay or recommend. Will stay elsewhere next year. Very disappointed

Loved the hotel is built among the mountain rocks. Balcony is nice. The suite we were in was spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Nice having a mini kitchen with sink available. An upgrade to the refrigerator would be nice; one that would not freeze everything as there was no way to adjust the temperature, and it was very small. It would be helpful if there was a sign stating where the entrance is to the hotel as we drove around a while before discovering a sharp right turn and then up an inclined road to the hotel office. Otherwise it is a nice hotel.

Beds were comfortable, everything was clean. We were right in Keystone and could have walked downtown although the driveway is a little steep for walking. They provided fresh lemon or cucumber water when coming in. Had a nice balcony.

We had an issue where we were staying so found this hotel and front desk guy was fantastic in getting us in early to save our non refundable helicopter tour that afternoon. Went in room and it smelled like a years worth of cigarette smoke and wet dogs. The grass area for pets was a drainage area that u or your dog couldn't walk thru due to ankle deep water. So my service dog had to use bathroom in the parking lot. Hugh parking lot could take a small section of it and add grass for pets, simple solution.

Staff was great. Hotel was very dirty. Mold in our bathroom door handles had built up dirt, tiles broke and very dirty walls. I will never stay again.

Loved the balcony view of all the trees! Weather was a wonderful 60 degrees. Really close to the Mount Rushmore. Would stay there again.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location was perfect for our stay. Loved that it sits on top of a mountain. Very clean and complimentary breakfast was great!
