No breakfast provided, however coffee was available and good. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Cool Mom and Pop type motel less than ten miles from Mt Rushmore. Very hospitable staff and decent sized room and beds. Refrigerator was very small.

Bed was very comfortable. Different types of pillows from very soft to hard. Plenty of room within the room. Microwave and small fridge. Crushed ice machine on ground level. Large mirror over sink and enough counter space around sink. Shower is a bit dated with straight curtain rod. Appreciated the rubber lines in the tub shower to prevent slipping. I did not notice whether there was an elevator to get to the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms. My room was on 2nd floor so I used the stairs to carry up/down my carry-on luggage. Parking right in front of rooms. The overflow parking was right next door if you arrive late while staying there. The front desk issues you a parking sign when you check in and you leave it on your car's dash. I used the rocking chairs on the front porch twice to just chill. Very relaxing. Jason manned the front desk when I checked in. Very friendly and helpful. I liked staying here. I also felt safe as a solo traveller.

Went for the Sturgis Rally. It was reasonably priced and convenient. The staff was excellent, can't say enough about how great they were. They also had a convenient separate parking lot for trucks and trailers.

Jason at the front desk gave me a incredibly warm welcome and made the check-in process effortless. He was friendly when I called ahead and even remembered me when I arrived in person. Great service! Booking through a third-party site made communication difficult when coordinating our late arrival. It’s also worth noting for future travelers that visiting during the off-season directly impacts the service hours in this area—it's not just a possibility, but a certainty.

It was in a great location! Staff was very helpful and the showers and air conditioner were great! Not a lot of parking/ tourists were parking in the hotel parking area

The room was clean for the age. The location was great everything in walking distance. We rode our bikes to Mt. Rushmore for the evening events. Now the not so good. The beds are the originals to the property lol. They really need to be replaced hard as a rock. The pillows are very small like a throw pillow. It was a balancing act to sleep on them.

Rooms are dated but very clean. Super close to downtown so you can walk to shops. No elevator, so book early if you don’t like stairs.
