Everything was nice but a lot of extra costs that didn’t seem needed

next to galleria mall was convenient, more reasonable food options, in food court there. Breakfast was way too expensive at hotel restaurant, though service was excellent

My room was comfortable in that familiar Westin way. The bed really is as good as people say; I slept better than I expected, especially after a long day of meetings. The room itself was clean and had plenty of space, even if some of the décor felt like it remembered the early 2010s a little too fondly. Nothing bad, just not super modern. The staff were genuinely kind. Not over‑the‑top, not robotic—just normal, helpful people. Someone at the front desk gave me a great dinner recommendation without sounding like they were reading from a script, which I appreciated. The lobby has a relaxed vibe, and I found myself hanging out there more than I usually do in hotels. If I had to nitpick, the elevators get crowded, especially when the mall is busy, and a few areas of the hotel could use a refresh. But those things didn’t ruin anything; they were just small bumps in an otherwise easy stay.

This is definitely a great place to stay when in Houston especially if you like being in the mix of downtown and has direct access to the Galleria, which is always fun and a good way to waste time. The hotel is very clean very well-maintained and would definitely stay again.

Awesome hotel because of amenities, location, staff, and attractive rooms.

Parking is horrible and no elevators in garage people being rude and not watching for pedestrians and honking as we have right away to walk while they just turn in or pulling out.

property is a bit outdated and the fees and charges are high. also confusing how to enter and exit the property - it is behind the twin hotel

Always a pleasure to stay @ the Westin Galleria!... Staff are very friendly and professional, Housekeeping keeping the rooms spotless and pristine. Keep up the great service!

Overall a great stay and would stay again if in the Houston Area. Also, Central Market was a 10 minute drive to pick up snacks and drinks. There was also a gas station less than 10 minutes away.
