Courtyard by Marriott Houston Rice University

Great for business travel

Nice place, good location, and friendly staff. The breakfast was an issue, with wait times up to 30 minutes, and cold eggs. Clearly a staffing or management issue.

The rooms smelled like musty mold, and I had to breathe that smell in all night. And the food in the restaurant was terrible. The chicken wings were undercooked, and the hummus was too salty.

Great people. Safe area!

Only negative would be the mattresses were pretty “saggy” and soft

Convenient location; good price: No hot water and the shower door was broken ( room 307)

Great location. Clean and well designed. The pool was clean and safe The coffee availability was very limited. It was not readily available in the morning

Decent room for the money.

The property was nicely decorated and the staff was friendly. However, the hotel had one Elevator down and the other grinded to a halt on the third floor. The ice machine was not working and our bathroom door was missing a handle. The pool was cloudy. Although we did not take advantage of the restaurants they smelled good and had a continuous flow of guests. The hotel was very convenient to my seminar location. I would stay again.

I was in room 101 accessible for disability. Room smelled awful very strong smell like vomit. Room smelled awful like vomit!

Water pressure was low in my room and bed was not comfortable but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the environment felt very safe.

Need USB ports to charge phones

Clean warm place to stay Need USB ports to charge phones

Very convenient to heb grocery store and restaurants. Shuttle only runs on weekdays within a 3 mile radius. Very comfortable bed

The bed was so comfortable I slept through whole 4th of July :) didn’t see the fireworks. The fact that I slept so comfortably my boyfriend went to go party.

The staff was wonderful. The hotel restaurant is 5-star and world-class. Breakfast was great!

-rooms were very humid at night despite being set low -bathroom ceiling had mold -bathroom shower floor was gross -random holes/big chips in paint -breakfast - woman was alone, reminded us multiple times how short staffed they were, food was below average

Location near stadium

Exceptional

Bed are super comfortable the only is that they did not have toiletries
