La Quinta Inn by Wyndham New Orleans West Bank / Gretna

Trap Hotel on the Westbank. Deplorable conditions. I wanted to cancel but expedia did not allow me to cancel unless I paid $75 service fee.

The staff was nice but the first room we were given still had items from the last guest, pillows on the floor. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned. The second room was also disgusting. No towels, not that we would have wanted to shower there anyway. I can’t believe this hotel hasn’t been shut down.

Nasty Rooms were filthy reaped of urine had to find another hotel to stay in

This place is a nightmare. And the staff it rude . Do not do it.

Just know this is unlike any hotel you’ve ever stayed at , the tv has no remote, bathroom has no towels or soap, beds do not look clean at all. But it was cheap and just needed somewhere to shower and nap for a few hours.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING This hotel is disgusting. There were roaches, needles, condoms, mold, and bugs. The rooms smelt so bad of dog urine you couldn’t even walk in. The one lady working the counter was rude, and tried to tell us our room we paid for wouldn’t be ready and offered us something smaller for the same price and we declined.

Worst Hoyel I’ve ever stayed in. My mistake by accepting staying there. There was mold all over the walls and ceiling. Sheets were nasty.

The grass was uncut, the door leading to the pool area only worked one way, which means you had to go around to get into the lobby. The pool was drained & looked like it hadn’t been maintained properly. Once in the room there was no toilet paper, only one towel, & the tv did not work. Two of the lamps in the room didn’t work, & the coffee maker had no carafe. I think in all my travels I had not seen worse accommodations. I don’t think you can even call this a hotel. Maybe a ‘notel’? The ownership & this brand ought to be ashamed to even continue to operate in this facility - or lack thereof.

Bathtub shower not sanitized Cockroach crawling on shower curtain. Landscaping over grown. No drinking water available— not even for sale. Front desk check in rate 40% higher than Expedia. The only good thing: bedding was clean. Comfortable.

Room was cool and comfortable. Bed was firm but comfortable and felt wonderful. Room was very clean. Sheets were clean. Staff was extremely accommodating eventhough understaffed at the moment. There were no towels in the room but I let the front desk know and brought them immediately. Very kind staff. The pool was under maintenance at the time of stay. No microwave and no refrigerator in room which was problematic with food and drink.

They let the trash build up outside for three days we stayed 4 nights was not offered to clean our room or give us towels after we check out on the way home one of the staff called me and was hateful and hang up on me because I had not checked out and we gave the key to a woman behind the counter before we left it was not my fault if they can't communicate with one another

I canceled stay and left.
