Comfy beds, restaurant, close to Mt. Washington, and had a nice .pool Gnats were everywhere—in bathroom, walls, etc. nothing was done other than occasionally vacuuming. If there were no gaps between the top and bottom of door, and if they used some kind of safe bug spray along the outside where building abuts the sidewalk it would have helped. I got bites under one arm!

It would have been nice to have a wall cabinet or extra shelf in the bathroom to put our personal toiletries.

I am handicapped (leg amputation) and thought I had booked a handicapped room. When I got there to check-in I discovered my room was on the second floor and it was not handicapped. The associate at the desk worked hard to rebook things and found an accommodation that worked well for me. In addition, it was quite and an upgrade! I was extremely happy for her caring and providing something more fitting for me.

Quaint property. Shows its age though. The best views from the restaurant. Enjoyed the spa and gym. The restaurant for dinner was fantastic. Cristina (waitress) was great. The property outside is well maintained and beautiful. The rooms need updating, but the nightly rate is reflective of the aging rooms. Our room felt very aged. Bathrooms tiny and old.

Upon check-in, the staff person asked for my credit card to swipe. I was confused by this because I had already pre-paid for my entire stay through Expedia. When I asked why they needed my credit card again, she said, "You could damage the room, who knows!" I didn't appreciate being accused of being a room damager when I had only been there for 2 minutes. Lots of other guests were checking in with pickup trucks and trailers with ATVs on the back. I assume this is the thing everybody wants to do in that neck of the woods. Okay. The room was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. I booked a 4-day stay from Tuesday - Saturday (9/8/26 to 9/12/26). I was just looking for some peace & quiet, and some R & R. The first 2 days were fine. However, on Thursday, there was a large number of guests in an adjacent building that were having what appeared to be a "block party" out in the back parking lot. A lot of yelling, screaming, and singing out loud was taking place. The same day, about 1/2 dozen Harley bikers checked in and rented some adjoining rooms directly underneath me. They were riding their loud motorcycles in circles in the back parking lot as well. I found this so disturbing that I checked out 2 nights early, was only able to get a refund for the final night (and had to argue for that) because I booked a non-refundable trip. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is probably not the place for you.

Very nice although getting a bit aged. Nice room, windows that open with screens, comfy beds, thick towels and good restaurant. Only negative was the very weak water pressure and slow internet, probably because it has no security (password) leading unlimited users. We'd stay again.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean. However, it was on the second floor above the lobby accessed by a long, grand staircase., quite the climb! Breakfast was not included in the daily rate. The attached restaurant was not busy but breakfast was very good!

Clean rooms and excellent service! Will definitely return!

Nice location for George Washington MT. Hotel clean & friendly staff.

The staff is so friendly! We decided to eat at the restaurant on site and it was fantastic!! We had the special of the day, Ribeye, and it was grilled to perfection. Our waitress was so attentive. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna. That was a relaxing end to our evening.

It was spacious and quiet

Very nice, helpful staff. Clean room and bath. Beautiful location. Breakfast isn't complementary, but it was a very nice buffet.
