Staff was very nice, Free parking and close to shopping centers…BUT the hotel in general was a 1 out of 5 stars…rooms are dirty (I had 3 rooms and each one had same poor dirty room experience), the building air quality is horrible, showers were filthy, AC seems to only work in the rooms but not the hallways, elevators, lobby nor gym…this was a ONE and DONE experience. Very disappointed.

Love this hotel and staff - Alice is awesome and so are other people at front desk. Great location with a lot of shops and restaurants close by and newly renovated. Will be back again soon!

When this hotel first opened it was great, well maintained and very clean. This trip was just okay and only for one night. The lobby is dim and dingy. I feel like the area is growing with businesses and Aloft needs to update and brighten the space.

Room was nice and comfortable. The size of the room, too small. Lacked a microwve and mini-fridge.

Great location and nice rooms great price. Free covered parking and very comfortable beds. We’ve stayed there multiple times and never been disappointed.

Had a “salsa night” in the lobby. Could hear the music in my room all night long. It was our halfway stop on a 12 hour road trip & my toddler didn’t even sleep because of the noise. If I had known, I would have booked elsewhere.

Very clean, calm, and convenient location. I stay here whenever I am working in RVA. Easy freeway on and off. Near shopping, dining, movies, and music venues.

They moved me to another room that had a very loud air conditionair and a broken thermostat. I left the next morning although I had booked a four night stay.

Noise level in lobby was bad

The hotel was extremely hot. Thank goodness our room was cooler than the hallway. It still didn't cool off completely even after putting the air on 66. But it was tolerable. Not sure if it was just our shower but water got all over the floor as soon as the shower was turned on. I had to use all the towels to clean it up. We only stayed for 1 night. It wasn't a terrible experience but I don't think we would stay again. I do think the hotel is in a very pretty area.
