Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Downtown/Blackstone

The rooms were very clean and the location was good. The staff were also helpful and nice to deal with Although the valet parking is good and they are quick to give you your car when requested, they take your car in a lift to park it. I wouldn’t recommend if you have a bigger car

The location is super convenient to events downtown. The staff were helpful and courteous. As you can image being located downtown, parking is hectic during mornings and evening hours. The line can get long waiting for your car to be retrieved. Our room was located along the outside and evenings were supper noisy with vehicles driving by and local music/bands outside. Fortunately, we had a fan to help drown the noise. The beds were squeaky and not very comfortable and the pillows were nice.

Please don’t ever stay here! Only after we arrived were we notified that the following day the water would be shut off from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for “maintenance”. Maintenance should be done during hours when people need water for showers. This alone negatively impacted our plans and our trip for much of the first day. Once the water was turned on, our toilet no longer worked at all. Maintenance did not know what the problem was. Upon talking with the manager, she was rude, combative, unhelpful and unaccommodating. She repeatedly lied to me. Due to her attitude, we canceled the three remaining nights of our stay and moved to the another property nearby. The other property’s staff was very welcoming and helpful. I have filed a complaint with Marriott corporate regarding the Courtyard manager. Hopefully they make things right.

The room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable. And the employees were some of the nicest people. Always willing to help with whatever was needed. I would highly recommend staying here. Location was in walking distance to everything downtown.
