Holiday Inn Express & Suites El Paso - Sunland Park Area by IHG

The property was continently located near restaurants, shopping centers and UTEP. It was perfect for our stay and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. I would definitely visit again.

Also, they didn't reimburse the $ 20 Dlls I left as a deposit

At the time of our visit the elevators were not working so we had to use the stairs to bring up and take down all of our luggage. There was a weird smell around the area that smelled like sewage and the smell came into the room as well. It wasn't the hotel, but was the area of the hotel.

Main issue here was the fact that we checked in on a Sunday night at around midnight and the guy says “ before I check you in I wanna let you know the elevator didn’t work and you’re on the 4th floor “ I was like hu ? And what you want me to do st midnight ? I already paid for this . I checked out the following Saturday and the elevator was still down . Had to go up and down 4 floors with luggage for 7 . Incredible .

We couldn’t use the Elevator due to it being down. The toilet was broken and the sink kept backing up.

Elevators are no working, we had a lot of equipment and they put us on 3rd floor... request a room downstairs and we been told that hotel was booked, we found out talking with a person from housekeeping that they were plenty of rooms avaliable

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and efficient. I had an excellent stay

However both elevators were not working and I had to lug all my stuff up the stairs I am very upset at the lack of coffee maker in the room and there was not one available upon request I need my first coffee in the room! Stop taking away amenities!!

My party and I got to the hotel at 2pm, knowing sometimes check in was at 3pm but sometimes from our previous travels we know they may have the room available sooner, well we got to the hotel and receptionist didn’t even greet us, I said we have reservation, to what she said check in is at 3pm, I asked her by chance yoh don’t have any rooms ready and she said no cause check in is at 3, ok my party and I headed to a restaurant close by. She didn’t offer to put us on the list of check in or anything, we go to the restaurant, it took us the 1hr to get back to the hotel, reason why we wanted to check in early was because we have a concert to get ready for and wanted to start as soon as possible, reason why I got this hotel. When we got back to the hotel there was like 10 ppl in line to check in, waiting all fir rooms, we talked to one of the lady’s that were in front of us and she had mentioned she’s was there since 230 and she got to check in but hotel didn’t have hotels ready, I was pretty upset cause we could’ve been checked in since 2pm, but since receptionist was sooo rude.. we waited on the line to check in and there was a different guys checking in , he didn’t even tell us sorry for the wait, he didn’t even say anything besides we don’t have rooms, it will be 20-40 before a room is ready, to what was wrong cause there were talking to the ppl there in front of us, some of them have been waiting for over an hour, we waited till 5pm to get our room.
