This hotel was super close to the state fair. Although there were a few minor things with the room (pillows could be fluffier, b/r door warped, one drawer didn’t close) everything was super clean, staff were nice and breakfast was good. We had a laugh with the train that goes by (a long one at 10:30 pm/short one at 1:15 am) reminding us of the movie “My cousin Vinny”. But it wasn’t enough to bother us.

Stayed one night on our travels south. We were very pleased with this hotel! We were greeted upon entry and offered fresh baked cookies after check in! Our room was very clean and quiet. They offered ear plugs to travelers as occasional trains pass nearby. We heard one go by around dinner time, but barely noticeable. None during the night. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic! Can’t forget the breakfast which was nicely done, mini egg omelets, sausage, waffle makers (make either one large or up to 4 mini ones)! Bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt plus more! Staff was very polite and friendly. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The hotel has a smell to it that was just unpleasant. The bath tub had peeling paint. I decided not to stay. I left before even attempting to sleep in the bed.

Breakfast was awful ended up not eating it after the first day because nothing had flavor and cereal was stale. Shower was gross. The bed was the worse part of the stay. Nothing really nice to say. Worst hotel in awhile. The train did not bother me but the paper thin walls u could gear everything did

My room wasn’t cleaned. My bed smelled like fish and sweat. I didn’t mind the train that passed next to my window. Parking was good my car safe.

Breakfast options are great. The pool is well maintained. The location being next to Kings Dominion is great. The fact that we can't take our breakfast back to the room is ridiculous.

If we weren’t exhausted from the drive we would’ve left all together but it was late and I didn’t want to have to find and pay for another hotel. Just do yourself a favor and find another hotel.
