Great staff, sustainable but not obnoxious, good breakfast, great windows. Hummm...

It was a great experience

Rooms are very small but have a cool atmosphere. The property amenities are good. The staff was average. We had one friendly bartender the first day. The next day we had one that acted like we were an inconvenience for him. It was 8 in the evening when our group of 4 stopped in for a drink, the bar seats were all empty. I think he preferred it that way. The other staff we encountered would benefit from some further customer service training. Location for downtown Denver activities was great.

Had a lovely time. Great hotel! Close to everything. Wish I could’ve had late check out to enjoy it more!

Room was so small. Only enough room to walk around the bed. No space for luggage. No luggage stand. Sink is in the room. Counter space reminds me of European bathrooms, almost nonexistent. Terrible lighting. Bed was too soft. For the price, I’d have to say I won’t be staying here again.

Amazing architecture and views of the city
-
Room was extremely small. Coffee shop in the lobby was very busy with long waits.
-
Very nice hotel, clean and very good staff

No parking garage on premises though. We had a vehicle but it was easy to park in nearby garages and lots, and bring our own luggage in. Recommend staying here.

One of the most amazing stays I’ve had. Everything from the service, to our view and amenities. First time visiting Denver and I am glad I chose this hotel for my stay. Close to everything and architecturally beautiful. Pasque and Little Owl Coffee were incredible.

The first disappointment was, I reserved dining for 4 in the Stellar Jay rooftop restaurant! I was 30 minutes late, and they had no record of my reservation, that I had reserved online. The hostess wouldn’t even let us in to the restaurant! I couldn’t believe it! We were guests in the hotel! Not even let us sit at the bar! It’s the only reason we booked a room at the Populus Denver! I still can believe it! Never again!!!

Nice location with a cool rooftop bar. The food was excellent at the 13th floor restaurant, Stellar J. Service was lacking at the rooftop bar and lobby. Our room was very small.
-
Excellent experience and we loved the style of the hotel. We will come back for more stays.

Love the style Price

Really cool design, comfy beds and an overall great vibe.

This was the exact opposite. Every day I received housekeeping. The gym was spotless. The restaurants and bar were spotless and the attention to detail in all aspects was exceptional. We loved the filtered water in the halls and the reasonable rates for snacks and drinks in the rooms. The food in both restaurants was wonderful. The only issue I would like the property to address is the very expensive rate for overnight park of $65.00. I know this is the norm but as this isn’t a normal hotel it would be nice to have a lower price for their clients. Excited to visit again.

Room was clean and made good use of space.

My stay was wonderful and got comp upgrades. My only complaint was day of check out, I checked in valet for my car and it took almost a hour until I received my car. Valet service needs to be more efficient.

Went to the bar at the hotel around 10:45pm and they were calling last call, I asked for a whiskey sour, the bartender rolled his eyes. I was if it’s that hard I’ll order a beer.

Unfortunately the front desk staff really impacted our stay in a negative way. After having prepaid for a reservation a month prior, we were told only AFTER our deposit was taken the room we had was not available and only downgrades were available. This however wasn't actually true, after speaking with the general manager, the room I had reserved was suddenly available and waiting on us. The room was double booked, and to Dan and Phil who also booked the room and the unpleasant experience that went with it, I do hope you were comped well. If Populus wants to compete with establishments such as The Crawford, the front desk and operations will need to improve considerably.
