Nice location. Spacious room and really nice comfortable bed Felt a little old and bathrooms in need of a facelift. Was not very lively when we were there.
-
We had a suite which was quite roomy. Big screen TV with excellent picture. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent location downtown.
-
Need to request room cleaning every day, as they tend to not do that in longer than one night stays.

Wonderful, thoroughly updated historic building. Terrific Staff, an excellent bar and restaurant ( The Nickel ) Rooms very clean and modern, very high quality sheets and bedding. A 10-12 minute walk to Union Station, 5 minutes to Larimer and 16th Nothing

The location was perfect. We were just a couple of blocks from a pedestrian street that had many choices for dining.
-
We turned on the AC and left for about two hours, expecting the room to be comfortable when we returned. Instead, it had only cooled to 74 degrees. We called the front desk and were told to raise the temperature setting, which didn’t make much sense and, unsurprisingly, didn’t solve the problem. Even after running all night, the room only cooled to 72 degrees. The room itself was attractive, but that really doesn’t matter when you can’t be comfortable in it. After a long, exhausting day, a cool, comfortable room and a good night’s sleep are basic expectations from a hotel. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience.

We did have a few issues, tho- the room had a distinct pencil-shavings BO smell. Maybe some previous guests were just smelly and sweaty, or maybe it’s just like any other historic building that has that residual smell of people being there for more than a century prior to the advent of solid antiperspirants. The other thing was that the TV didn’t turn on. Remote had batteries, but no TV. If it hadn’t been for those two things, I wouldn’t have an issue with the outside noise (not a street facing room) that was incessant through the day, along with the jet-engine AC in the room. We did not sleep well.

This hotel is super well located and in good taste. Feels like a cross between a marriot and a boutique hotel. The staff is helpful and responsive.

We had a great stay at Hotel Teatro! The location is excellent—close to everything we wanted to do in downtown Denver. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

I took great care selecting this hotel for its steam punk, industrial/chic aesthetic and price. I liked my little alcove room and felt kind of cradled by it. It’s similar to rooms you see offered in Europe. Very small, but cozy. Definitely not for everyone. I slept like a bear and enjoyed my stay tremendously. There were some quirks with the room, like an unplugged desk lamp that couldn’t really be plugged in and a tiny TV, which I could barely see. My main complaint is that they have a lobby bar that stays unused for key periods of the day, including the afternoon, when people are waiting for their room to become available. The restaurant isn’t very welcoming, and consists of a lot of industrial furniture. I really didn’t even know there was a bar there. I think they need to set up coffee in the lobby where it’s much more accessible and let people have beer and wine and imported sodas in the afternoon.

Great location and cute area of Denver

Older boutique hotel great location

Needs to be renovated. It is run down. Service is terrible. Trays remain outside rooms for a day or so it seems before people pick them up. Asked for towels twice and they never came. There are better hotels to stay in Denver.

I always stay here- great location, superb restaurant and very helpful staff. And love the king rooms with a bathtub!!!! Oh yes❤️

The location was fantastic, the historical look was great. the staff was subpar and the room had an issue with the AC unit that kept us up all night.
