It was clean and comfortable No front door due to construction. Took us a bit to figure out how to enter and find registration. My husband has walking limitations so I had to do the find and seek. A heads up would have been nice to let us know where to check in. At morning breakfast they ran out of coffee and had to wait 15 minutes for more. Never had that happen ANYWHERE!! The front desk clerk was not pleasant or helpful. Rather rude to my husband about the coffee issue too. All around we probably won't use a Tru by Hilton again. We considered it a shelter fir the night.

There was all kinds of construction going on, and there ideas on amenities are silly! The pool and hot tub are a WALK from the hotel!

The room was cleaned ok. Not fantastic. Seamed like the Tru was understaffed. Most of the time there was no one at front desk. Location is great. Breakfast was ok. Most of our stay one of the two pancake machines was not working. Over all a good stay.

Location was great, and I love that it was connected to a casino There was really nothing I didn’t like

Will definitely come back in the future if we’re here again!

Easy to get to

There was a lot of construction when we were there so it was hard to navigate where to check in, but there were lots of signs to help you find your way.

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was adequate, the eating options were awesome in the casino area, sports book was pretty good. Also the casino area had a good selection of games. Also good location as we could just walk to the downtown area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Breakfast

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Very modern. The hotel is part of a casino and had a couple restaurants on the property. Very convenient. The breakfast was good, but their coffee is terrible. That’s the only negative thing we experienced.

I arrived about 40 minutes early and the room was not ready. No big deal I told them I would wait. An hour later I went to see if the room was ready (now this was 20 minutes after check-in ) and they said it was still not ready. The first time they checked on the room they told me housekeeping would get in the room right away. When I asked if I could switch rooms they said no because I had booked through Hotels.com. This was a problem of theirs so I was really upset that they gave me such a hard time. The front desk staff did go up and find out what the delay was and after about another 10 minutes the room was ready. By this time I was tired and since it had rained all day I was also wet so I was not real comfortable. I did enjoy the casino downstairs but the pool is a long walk and walking through the casino in your swimsuit and cover up is a little weird. The room was perfectly fine and I didn't really use any other amenities. I didn't mind paying for parking because they did give you a voucher for the casino for the same amount of parking was so it all came out even. Even with the mess up on check-in I would still recommend this hotel because of the location and the casino being downstairs
