Very good

Definitely staying here whenever I am in the Dana Pointe/San Clemente Area. Rooms were very clean and comfortable; staff is excellent; parking should be free being it is in the hotel you are staying, we paid for Valet (extra $10)/night The beach areas are always limited with parking; in all honesty, the hotels should not charge the traveler who has a booked room with them.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location!

Great beach view!
-
Clean, close proximity to the ocean views Check in 4 pm They charge $50 for parking. I didn't notice that when I booked the room.
-
Room had view of wall and other rooms. Peek-a-boo view of freeway. Most disappointing Hilton I have ever stayed in.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Fourth floor bar and patio was closed during the week and open on weekend. We were led to believe that it was open nightly. When. was open the lady that was working with no help was spectacular trying her best to take care of customers all white having a smile on her face. When we checked out I had a bellman assist me with our luggage. I was sure that all of our luggage made it down to our car. When we got home to Arizona later that evening I discovered that our laundry bag was missing. I immediately called the front desk and let them know that our laundry bag was missing. He checked lost and found and housekeeping with no luck. He suggested that I call back in the morning. I did and again no luck. I called again on Wednesday to no avail. Then I called again and asked to speak to the GENERAL MANAGER. Of course I had to leave a voicemail. I did my best to explain my situation. I DID NOT even get a return courtesy call. He obviously did not care. It was my fault for not seeing that my laundry bag was not loaded in my car BUT my laundry bag with probably $400+500 worth of our clothes did not just disappear. Someone took them. I cannot recommend this hotel when there is no trust and the GENERAL MANAGER could care less.

I love the location, you can walk across the street to the beach. Our room was nice and clean and staff was friendly. Just be aware they charge an extra $45 to park.

Good for work and beach

I love this hotel because of the location. It is across the street from Doheny beach. It’s great. Rooms a fairly spacious, staff is friendly and on site parking is great.

Clean room and outdoor pool
-
The tub doesnt drain, the water doesnt come out of the tub spout and the bathroom door doesnt lock. When i turned on the a/c it vibrates and was loud enough to bother my wife.

Loved the location & staff

Enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

This hotel is a great location. Previously it was a Marriott. They have redone the pool area and the lobby. The lobby bar is great and the roof top when opened. The food is passable but not great. I always come back for the location across from Doheny camp ground and beach access.

Clean room is the best for us
-
We tried for 2 days to get thru to front desk to request early check in. We were willing to pay the fee, but no one ever picked up. When we did show up, the woman at the front desk was very rude and kept trying to charge us for parking even though we told her we were not parking there. The roof top bar/restaurant was closed the whole time we were there. And the pictures of the roof top are much nicer than it looks in real life (dated furniture and dirty). Our room was clean, but also dated. We wont stay here again.

Overall a nice stay. But it needs updating. Bathrooms small and old fixtures. House phone broke. Ceiling plaster fell down to the floor. Sliding door handle broke. Staff was helpful.

But there was a few things that were not good there. Room cleaning was not every day, balcony door hard to open and toilet bowl has an issue with leaking. And even after informing them, that issues are not resolved. Breakfast was very bad not fresh food.Second morning we have breakfast outside of the hotel.
