Probably one of the worst places I’ve stayed. Crappy room, water fixtures were broken. Furniture was beat up and old. Tile floor was filthy. Walls and doors were dirty. Towels were basically rags. No air conditioning. No WiFi. In this case, you don’t even get what you pay for…

Needed some better upkeep

Staff is great. If you are looking for a cheap clean place that will keep you safe then thats the right one.

No ac not pool or hot tub as advertised.

This is an older motel in an urban neighborhood on the Chicago-Niles border. The surrounding neighborhood is safe (I used to live in Chicago). Lots of shopping (Walmart, Target, etc) nearby. It could be cleaner--one of the sheets had a cigarette burn hole in it. Staff was courteous and responsive. When I walked into the room and smelled pot smoke, they provided an air freshener that was effective without being overpowering. (They offered to transfer me to another room but I couldn't climb the stairs.) I discovered at midnight that there was no outlet near my bed for my CPAP, but to my pleasant surprise, someone was at the office desk even that late and was able to provide me with an extension cord. There were two incidents of noise from other guests but overall it was pretty quiet. You get what you pay for with this (with Chicago hotel rates overall being overinflated). It's pretty no-frills, and it's not exactly a relaxing place, but the staff responsiveness kept things from being 2 or 3 star experience.

do not come here, it's scary and there's no room controlled hvac, the room is tiny, looks like bates motel outside.

I had to crash for a few hours, and this place was enjoyable for a motel!

Location Filthy. Floor popping up. Tripped and about busted my head. Got up to go to the office and I was locked in the room. Towels are absolutely gross. Bring your own.
