Parking was difficult, being right in the city center. the check in staff were helpful, and the room was clean. The dining experience was very lacking, and my reason for a lower review. The wait staff was not very helpful, and they took forever to help get our drinks, our food, the check, etc. The food itself was not very good. NOTE: Chicken Milanese is NOT just chicken fingers. it's a full, breaded chicken breast. And this substitution was obvious, and a let down, and should not have costed what it did. Check out was easy.

Toilet didn't work in the first room & was changed to a different room. I was moved from the 7th floor to the 3rd & I had the view of the roof where underwear where laying. This hotel is too pricey to have this type of experience.

Location It has a bad smell and the shower drain was not working. I had to remove all the hair that was obstructing the drainage. The house keeping should have check it every time the costumers leave.
-
It’s a very convenient location and walkable to many shops and restaurants.

Hair everywhere. I know shedding is a natural process but for $500 a night, I shouldn’t be seeing any hair at all. I was so grossed out!

The hotel lobby was nice. Location was great. The room is very tiny hard to move around. We were across from the elevator and must’ve been the elevator room because we heard wheels rolling all night kept us up. We got maybe 2 to 3 hours of sleep. I asked for the room to be discounted due to this and was informed they could not.

Would have liked a bathrobe in the room.

Beds and pillow are terrible. The barroom light had some dead lightbulbs.
-
Room not quite up to other Hilton stays, and the price is excessive for the area, location and quality. Rooms were good, breakfast was pretty expensive for a buffet, but was very good. For a Hilton the staff was oblivious to the cruise travels that frequent the hotel. They had zero knowledge of the buses that pull up to the hotel, so the classic answer to everything was they did not know. We would stay again if the price was right.

Breakfast was amazing. Our room was too hot. There was a stick fan in the room. But it was still very warm. We had a very small room too. We could not even pass from one side to the window if someone was standing at the end of the bed! No refrigerator. That was disappointing. We kind of expected a more deluxe room since we paid $600 a night for 5 nights. Great bed, showers were amazing. Every single hotel employee was pleasant and friendly. The elevator was very fast, noted because it’s annoying when it isn’t!

When we were finally given a room, we went inside and shortly afterward another guest entered and said that the same room had also been assigned to them. We had to return to the front desk and, after another delay and inconvenience, were given a different room. Unfortunately, the bathroom in the new room did not have a ventilation fan, and there were black stains along the lower corners of the bathroom walls. I am not sure whether they were mold or something else, but this was concerning and did not seem acceptable for a hotel room.

On the positive side, the shower was great.

The buffet was very limited on what was offered for the price. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom was not what I expected from Hilton.

I initially booked a different hotel but switched to Hilton in Anchorage even though it was more pricey (at $500/night), I honestly thought we would have better, nicer accommodations. Sadly, this was the worst experience we’ve had staying at a Hilton. First, our room 901, as soon as we entered, smelled so bad. I notified guest services and they said the best they can do was to spray our room with air freshener which did not last long. Imagine staying in a room with foul odor. I was told the hotel was completely booked they were unable to switch our room, In addition, our toilet had such bad stain it looked like it was never cleaned. Again reached out to guest services and they did send someone to clean but stain could not be removed. It was completely disgusting. My mom once again spoke to guest services about our issues, upon our check out, but until now we have not heard back from anyone at the Hilton. Overall I would not recommend staying at Hilton in Anchorage
