Best Western Plus Elgin - Chicago

This is a good option for this value I woke up thirsty at 4 a.m. and didn’t find the bottle of water. And the rooms can be cleaner.

I did not had breakfast Nothing

Nice newer room. We liked the modern furnature and the freshness. The lobby and atrium area were nice.

Staff was friendly and efficient. All amenities were accessible and clean. Plenty of towels in Fitness center and pool. Hot breakfast was excellent with variety from day to day. Ample shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and moisturizer. Our 1st floor room had a musty smell. However, there was no visible sign of mold or mildew.

The property was really nice. Very clean room, I had the balcony room which was an extra nice touch. Great patio area out back but was unable to use due to rain. Breakfast was really nice and the front lobby area was very nice and well furnished to eat breakfast or just to sit and talk with others. Definitely recommend this property.

Fire alarm tripped

Nice place to stay

Breakfast was cold and could have been better.

Also, towel supply could’ve been more generous.

Seemed very clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. I was glad the shower/ toilet was in a closed room unlike some of the other hotels I was considering booking. Lots of cracks in the walls and drywall patching. Bathroom could use some updating. The side table had some spilled and half cleaned up colorful paint on it which was odd. Nothing majorly wrong or upsetting- just some cosmetic gripes.

My stay was great! The place was clean and maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The elevator was a little slower going up to the 2nd floor from the 1st floor, but the hotel fixed it quickly. The food from the breakfast was awesome, along with the variety it offered. Checkout was a breeze as well. Very close to a few restaurants and a stone's throw walk from the gas station. Also, the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, ect were really good! I liked that the room has a dryer, iron, and ironing board. I really enjoyed the stay.
