During check-in the lobby was empty with two hotel staff behind the desk but neither would acknowledge us until I greeted them. The girl checking us in seemed bothered throughout the entire process, would hardly make eye contact. The hotel lobby seamed worn and barely clean. The elevator was disgusting. I only glanced at the room briefly, but it had the same grungy look. The Boardwalk was closed because of a pending storm, and not looking forward to a stay at this hotel we decided to leave immediately. When we picked up our backpack out of the room, the hallway reeked of marijuana, and check out with the hotel staff was as unpleasant as checking in. And we were charged for two full days for a stay less than an hour. Every communication with the hotel staff was dismissive or even condescending at times. In summary, the customer service experience was unwelcoming snd borderline hostile making the hotel atmosphere feel more like a DMV office instead of a beach resort.

Clean!!!!!Everything was very accessible at this location the staff was polite and accommodating to our needs and the lemonade was dynamite... Couldn't stay another night here had to work the next day.Will definitely be coming back..

The ac/heater filter and bath fan cover were dirty. By my own choice due to health issues, I cleaned the ac/heater filter but not the bath cover. The view and balcony were awesome even though a northeast storm had arrived.

Really enjoyed myself

The television didn’t work properly, the ice machine on our floor didn’t work, only one light bulb in the bathroom worked, the electronic key reader on the room door worked, but was in poor condition, and the balcony has no privacy from the neighbors’ balconies.

Not a thing It was not at all like the pictures. It was a dump! We left after the first day and lost Alot of money because it was disgusting. I will Never trust your pictures again!

The hotel needs a major upgrade. They need to jazz it up a bit. Try and get alittle beachy. The carpet in the hotel was The bathroom toilet was so low to the ground. The TV was so small hardly no channels to watch. The balcony chairs were filthy and

Hotel was average. Staff was friendly. Safe and blow dryer in room did not work. Carpet in room had multiple stains, bedspread had holes in it, towels were very thin and rough. I suggest you bring your own towels and wash cloths. Heater/AC on wall was melted, but it did work. Shower provided plenty of hot water. We did not use the pool. When we were in our room, maintenance came in. They may have knocked but we did not hear them. They just opened door and walked in. Evidently someone have incorrect room number of needing maintenance. A phone call would have been nice. We were very uncomfortable with them just coming right in. We used deadbolt every time after that. Lastly, in our email, there was a provision for "early departure" as long as 24 hours notice is given. This clause was not honored because we had already checked in---which didn't make sense. So beware of that clause not being offered. Overall, the stay wasn't the worse we have experienced. The room was a little less expensive than others we searched for. So, just know, you get what you pay for. We were able to overlook all of the issues and still have a good time. The staff was friendly. Parking was available. Bed was comfortable. (You may want to take your own pillows too) Beach access was available out the back door with bathrooms available if you needed to come off the beach Coffee and lemonade were available in the lobby.

The location in proximity to restaurants and activities were great. The fact that it was beach front was great. 1) Staff person did not have any skills on dealing with public. (not the employee's fault). Arrived after midnight with my family after a 6 hour drive. Stood there for over 30 minutes while she had two phones held up, one to each ear. One phone with the owner of the hotel and the other with a customer. She was clearly frazzled. There was one man in front of me waiting to be checked in. Finally, the attendant tried to multi-task and check the man in. I waited another 15 minutes, while she relayed conversations back and forth between two phones. I whispered politely to her, is that the manager.. she said it is the owner of the hotel. I asked her to tell her boss she has a customer waiting in line. He did not care. She could have politely, checked us in and returned to the problem call. It was well after 1 a.m. when I got my family into the two rooms. 2) The place was filthy. It is old, but it can still be clean. Dust and dirt thick was on the air conditioner (that front cover hanging off and so dirty) 3) I paid for two identical rooms. 2 queen beds, kitchenette ocean front. I received one with a kitchenette one without. Paid the same price. 4) I had one family member plug in their phone charger and the outlet sparked. 5) Lamps did not work. 6) The bathtub drain was clogged, so after the first person showered, the water stayed in the tub. It was filled with the first person's dirty water.. All the way to the top. What were we suppose to do. We were there for a major family event we were getting ready for, 7) Both rooms had a balcony. There were major holes in the concrete of both balconies. Anyone could have tripped. 8) The fire extinguisher in glass on our floor was broken, glass broken outside of main door. 9) We were there for a formal family event. I needed to use the iron. When I went to press my daughter's dress black particles came out of the wholes in the iron onto the material! 10) Bed Pillows were 3 square little pillows for your couch.
