The vacuums used for house keeping are extremely loud to wake up to. Not an enjoyable sound at 7am when you’re attempting to sleep in. Everything was amazing from the amenities to valet so it’s a minor complaint. The second it the toilet paper provided was absolutely terrible. Cheap thin and rough. Honestly one of the worst I’ve ever seen, and I’m a professional service plumber, I see a lot of bathrooms. I’m only complaining because it was weird when everything else was so over the top amazing.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the hotel. Loved our room and the view. Lunch was delicious at the St Paul Grill. Gardens outside are beautiful. Very convenient to have valet parking while we stayed.

We love this hotel. So classic, so elegant. It’s in a perfect location, has wonderful amenities, and vintage charm.

Apon checking in I was spoken to like I wasnt expected to be there. Was asked what my question was instead of how may i help you. After saying i was checking in they said my room was ready but was sold to 3M guests. They had downgraded my room without notice prior to arrivle but offered no discount when asked. The tone of the older female receptionist seemed as thouugh I was inconveniencing her. Told her I paid for a king. She got flustered and agitated but she found a king room. Bell hops and doormen were great. Offered suggestions for breakfast and made conversation about the show we were theyre for.

We had a nice room and got some much needed rest during a very busy trip to the Twin Cities. We went to a concert at the Casino Arena and the St Paul was just a couple blocks.

The lobby was gorgeous. The rooms were substandard to our expectations of the "classiness" of the hotel. The staff were very polite, but we were LIED to when they offered their Valet Service saying it was free with staying at the hotel. It wasn't, I was charged for the Valet Usage the next day. There was also no breakfast of any kind served. I won't be back.

Never disappoints!

Nice hotel in a good location. We had a very good room service breakfast and the room was very comfortable. Shower and water pressure were mediocre.

Everything you need on site, very clean

The property is lovely and the building is beautiful, I was mostly ignored by front desk at checking out. My room was adequate, nice view etc. but the shower drained very slowly and the elevator bordered my room, so I was awoken pretty early and often because of the sound of it.

It's our favorite hotel in St. Paul. We had another wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for the excellent hospitality and for making our visit so enjoyable. We will be happy to stay here again and again!

This is an elegant and the staff was very friendly and professional. Katherine was our service provider in the Drake each morning. She was so fantastic, and the food was super delicious! The valet team was the best as well. All around great stay, and one we'll remember for years!

A classy old hotel in the heart of the city, complete with a handsome lobby, friendly staff, and nice restaurant.
