Sleep Inn Sioux Falls Airport

We couldn’t park anywhere in the front as three construction trucks took over the whole area and we’re forced to park in the rear, which was a little suspect. Luckily everything was OK. Got to the room and it was musty and the air-conditioning unit was completely rusted and blew out musty air. Bed was great. There were holes in the wall stuffed with toilet paper and the toilet and shower were leaking all over. Not a well maintained property at all. The staff was wonderful, however.

Breakfast was ok. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to see and do. The room smelled like someone had been smoking cigars. The bathroom had black mold on the wall behind the toilet. It smelled like a sewer in the bathroom.

Exceptional

Also, I feel I should add, not that it's any of their fault, but the area it's located is in my opinion sketchy!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was adequate. Did not use pool/hot tub or eat breakfast. The surroundings were a little sketch but surprisingly seemed safe and quiet. A good night's sleep.

Bad

Friendly nice staff. Lay out of room was not bad Black mold. Mildew/ musty smell was not good Room had been wet and ceiling had black mold. Room was rough shape.

Breakfast had different choices to have for breakfast It was to far off Inerstate 90

The hot tub was green., so I didn’t use it. The shower was full of mold so I didn’t use the shower. The radiator was filthy, the hotel is very run down. I would definitely not stay there again. I would prefer to up my budget

Easy access, comfortable room! Very clean! Excellent breakfast! Tired exterior, tired rooms. Needs a renovation!

Pleasant

The up keep of the building was poor,location was out of the way, away from everything. When we are traveling out west, we generally stay in a lower priced hotel. After this stay, we decided to up the price for a nicer hotel. It's just a sleep over, so we tolerate the accommodations.

Passable

The staff was friendly and helpful. The problem was the room smelled very musty. It’s an old place but even lemon febreeze couldn’t help.

Next to a casino and gas station in a part of town that as a solo female traveler l was a bit wary. Biggest beef was a poorly maintained entrance sidewalk that caused my luggage cart to tip and dump my things onto the driveway which damaged a few of my things.

Bags got stolen from my car
