The staff, location & cleanliness My room was on the second floor and the elevator from the second floor wouldn’t go down so I had to take the stairs everytime I went down for something.

The location and breakfast was good The Room wasn't cleaned properly, the ceiling and walls had water damage, the hotel needs to be cleaned better and some of the outs access doors didn't work

Rooms smell like cigarettes smoke. Staff couldn’t answer basic questions about breakfast because they work night shift.

Very easy to find. You can walk to the Cracker Barrel.

Location The Wingate in Shreveport was horrible. Looking up from the parking lot all the blinds or drapes on the windows were lopsided and crooked. The 2nd floor smelled strongly like someone smoked weed in this non smoking hotel. We noticed that the carpet in the room was severely stained but we were very tired from our roadtrip and went to bed. After about 3 hours we woke up to a horrible sour odor like vomit. Housekeeping must have masked the odor before we checked in but eventually the horrible odor came through. We tried to tough it out a few more hours because we so tired but the strong odor made us naucious and impossible to sleep. We decided to get dressed and leave. We let the front desk know but could not get a refund because with booking.com we had to pay upfront before we checked in. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We booked it because the ratings were decent between a 6.2 and 6.9 on cleanliness etc. Now we feel that the ratings must have been falsified. I would have never booked this hotel otherwise. The towels were also dengy and thin. They looked like they have been washed a thousand times and never been replaced. There were no soap bottles in the holder in the shower. $ 91.00 per night for for this disgusting place was to much.

The place was awful. Who not clean the rooms No shower curtains. The water in the bath tub would not turn completly off. Would never stay there again . My girlfriend complain about that room all weekend. Just awful

Easy to find Rooms not maintained well, smelled like someone had been smoking inside a non smoking room breakfast included was a joke. Nothing was ready but coffee.

Dirty room and nasty Bathroom. Hung up every time I called. Mold under airconditioner and rug. Blue stain on lamp shade and socket loose on lamp. The faucet on sink lifts up. Just an awful place.

It was a good price & breakfast offering was ok. The two times we actually saw someone at the front desk they were very nice. The smell of marijuana in the lobby and our floor, room was better. Elevator had issues so would have to go up before we could go down to the lobby. Very large cockroach ran in front of me in the hall just outside our room. There was rarely someone at the front desk & for being there 3 nights that was surprising to not have someone there when we were coming/going. No ice machine on our floor & the other we found by lobby didn't work. Pool was green. The pillows were a joke so we went and bought some. They only filled about half the pillow case so what was four pillows only looked like two & there weren't extras. The room only had 3 hangers, two people for 3 nights need more than that.

The hotel needs some serious attention. It seems like alot of things are not being maintained. Carpets had several stains, elevator not working properly, ice machine broken and some floors are missing ice machines. Vending machines empty and not working. The iron in the room wasn't working, went to get another one and that one was broken too. The toilet was dirty. Bugs on the floor. The soap dispensers were missing in the shower and very little soap bars were provided for two people. No cups or ice bucket was in the room. A mildew smell was in the room. The phone wasn't working to call front desk. The staff members were friendly but overall our stay was not to our satisfaction but we were so tired from our drive from Virginia that we just stayed to get some rest.

I always have a great experience there, always no issues, no problems. I love this hotel and will always stay here
