Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District

Although I requested it to be fixed, to the day we left we had to make do by opening the ball and fixing the flap so that water stopped (it would flush on its own in the middle of the night. Are is very busy and noisy, especially early morning and late evening (not the hotel's fault, but be aware of this if you book in that vicinity.) Staff is friendly to a certain point, but that is everywhere in Savannah in general.

The location was right downtown and close to a lot. Everything from the loading area to the room was clean, nicely decorated and roomy. Main floor had a bar and sitting area with multiple tv's. Staff was professional, kind and helpful. Definitely staying there again when I go back.

The hotel was nice however we need a handicap room, and it was good overall except for one problem, the toilet was not a raised handicap toilet. It was a normal low toilet and was difficult to use. Additionally, this is Savannah where parking is a premium. It cost $50 per day to park at the hotel. That is ridiculous and the hotel is ripping us off.

There was a sewage smell in the hallway upon my arrival.

The room itself was clean and nice. However, the coffee in the room was not very good quality as far as Kcups go. When I went down at 6:15 - coffee was not made and when I asked about getting some Kcups, all they had was decaf. Breakfast was ok - not really what I am use to seeing. There was the normal eggs, bacon etc. and there was a waffle station. No toast available, only a fruit bowl, no bananas, oranges etc the normal breakfast fruits you think of. Also, there was no yogurt options nothing healthy was out for a choice. You had to ask for the drinks because they weren't out for you to get, and the options were pretty slim. The valet service was very nice upon check in very helpful with the bags would not let me pick one up. However when we left, it was like "well you are on your own" All in all I would stay here again, but I would be mindful of bringing some of my own items. For the price I expected a little more "class"

Very noisy all night with cars going right by windows breakfast wasn't included we had to pay extra for that staff was really friendly.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and central to a lot of locations. Loved the valet service for our car though it was expensive.

Location was good, walking distance to restaurant bars etc. And a bar in the lobby

Pool and hot tub was in bad shape and valet parking was terrible at one time waited over 30 minutes in my car just to get my car parked
