Hotel De Anza by IHG

No one including Expedia said it was under construction for the new look which was posted as done. This was great place to stay before and I'm sure it will be even better when it's done, but they should of told us the condition it is in now. Only 1 elevator, no bar or food open yet. The staff was incredible, lots of spirt and helpful. Maintenance can right away when we had a problem adjusting the AC.(our fault)

It was under renovation. So things were not running normally.

We had one night in this lovely Art Deco building in a central location. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, all we needed for one night. Not a complaint, but the hotel was undergoing some renovation which impacted the lobby and the restaurant.

I liked that it was close to a lot of dining areas As much as i liked the dining options.. the lobby being under construction without being notified sucked. Finding bed bugs in my room was the worst thing that could have happened. Disgusting do better in cleaning and checking upon that and then having to pay for the night i stayed

The staff are the highlight of this hotel. Most of the hotel is under going renovation so it’s difficult to truly give an accurate review. The rooms are clean and things are in working order. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is good They were advertising something they didn’t have they were under construction. only one small elevator and the hotel was sold out. No breakfast, no ac, no areas to rest. Very bad experience!!!

Location, location, location They were in the middle of remodeling, not everything was available. Would still go back.

Only thing is I was disappointed that lobby was being renovated. This wasn’t shared on site and one of Reasons I picked hotel to lounge and bar. Also would have liked some local channels in room or to watch us open tennis final.

It’s beautiful but undergoing construction. The room was cute. As I stated it’s under construction which I didn’t realize when I booked. I was disappointed because they emailed and asked if I wanted to add packages. I decided to do that first time ever and they just ignored my request.

The location was good. The room size was good. There was no where when booking that noted that the property was under renovation. Not only was it under renovation but there was no lobby/restaurant/etc access. The reason we chose this hotel was it's art deco decor and we were looking forward to the beautiful common spaces. Really need to disclose that you are only renting a room. The room itself was ok. The shower is raised and and required a large step down to get out. I fell. The lights intermittently worked in the bathroom. Sometimes it took 4-5 times turning on and off to get them to come on.

I like that it was walking distance from SAP center. Front desk ladies where very nice and professional. The property is under construction. Common areas where dusty, only one elevator was working. and having to pay $47 for parking was crazy.

Basically I loved the location, the room and the design & the whole heritage story of the hotel itself. However, the lobby restaurants and everything except the rooms are currently under reconstruction so we couldn't see nor use much.
