Excellent, kitchen, large refrigerator and microwave

Location was good, Lots of restaurants and shopping areas around. Rooms would be great if updated/cleaned better. Breakfast could have been better as there was not selections available due to lack of preparation and machines were broken to limit choices. Scrambled Eggs were very runny or not even available. Rooms were very dated and could have been cleaner. Basketball court rims were broken.

Awesome stayed

I love everything about Sonesta ES, it is my go to place when in san antonio. It's always very comfortable. The stuff is always welcoming and location is excellent. I had to deduct a couple of stars because they are undergoing a renovation and it's quite a mess. It was due for an update and I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's through! I almost forgot because I I'm a member. I was able to check in an hour and a half early. After driving for 3 hours, that was most welcome! The renovations.

They served us well. Had to extend our stay to almost a week. Great price. Loved we could cook there. Beds were very comfortable. Super dog friendly. Breakfast was great and the host is super nice. They are working on updates but no issues. Thank you for saving us with a great price!

Hotel being remodeled and was not what was expected

Fire alarm was going off the entire night, roaches, muggy, gross

The location was close to the airport and convenient off I 10. Staff member at desk nice but no manager to address issues. One BR efficiency was a good size with refrigerator and coffee maker. The telephone did not work; the fire alarm went off during the afternoon and then during the night - all night. We had no idea whether it was a real fire or a faulty system, and were given no information - and we could not call...because the phone did not work... There were no managers on duty to speak with. A pair of men's underwear was discovered under the bed, while looking for a dropped earring. Breakfast is 6:30-8:30am - to 9am on weekends - ridiculous hours. Also not a good breakfast. Only one elevator and it was on the opposite side of the building to our room. It felt like walking the long gray mile each time we returned... AND - the hotel will be undergoing renovations - told that measurements of rooms must be taken during our stay. Our friends awoke to a man in their room at 2am - who believed the room was empty...and the security latch did not stop him. They also had ants. Overall rating negative 5. Management does not care. It should not be open until renovations are completed and it is safe to stay.

The location was fine. 20 minutes to Lackland, 20 minutes to riverwalk. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We had a 2 bed/bath suite which was nice for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable and the room was fairly clean. The breakfast was mostly good. The one poor thing was several of the days the sausage was in little pellets that were over cooked and crispy. The rooms are a bit dated. In fact they came around and did an inspection for a supposed refresh. The primary bath had some mildew growing on the wall, but other than that the room was clean. There was a couch and some kitchen chairs in the living room all of which were NOT comfortable. Also, the icemaker in the fridge did not work.

We loved everything about the property and the room/suite. Very clean, staff was nice and the breakfast was so good. Would definitely stay there again especially for an extended stay. Our daughter loved the sofa bed and the suite was cute but spacious, We swam in the pool and that courtyard was so pretty and well maintained, Did not get a chance to use the gym but it looked like it had a lot of machines and weights. The only thing that was a little strange was the toilets were very low to the ground like for a kids restroom in a school or something but other than that, everything was excellent.

Our stay has always been pleasant. Room clean and very comfortable

We first got a room on the 3rd floor, and it reeked of weed, and someone was playing loud music. So we got moved to the second floor and it was soo much better! It had some construction going on down the hall, but we didn’t go down there. But the bathroom definately needed a redo. The paint was coming off the wall from moisture and the bathroom door was also messed up. The curtains were ripped, and the couch cushions needed a good cleaning. Also the peep hole looked like it had paint on it or something, you couldn’t see much out of it. I’ve stayed at worse but also stayed at worse.

We had a quiet peaceful night great sleep and always parking front row. Rooms are so roomy hopefully see ya again soon. Stay at a great price and making the place of quality to stay.
