Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio - Brooks City Base by IHG

The room was very clean. They had great breakfast options and the staff was very friendly.

Exceptional

Exceptional

Room was a little dirty (hair in shower, toilet was stained a little, pullout bed had a little trash) other than that it was not too bad. Staff was very helpful and location was perfect for our stay. Good food options aren't too far and there are stores close by.

Exceptional

In general the location in regard to distance from important attractions is good. However, safety not so much. I saw broken glass along the parking lot which usually means break ins have occurred. Our “reserved room upon booking” was not available got 2 queen beds instead. The shower & room in general was not clean. I saw mildew in the restroom floor. The towels had marks on them. I also found hair on the bed sheets.

Superb

Room was clean and the staff very helpful. No issues at all will stay there again

I did like the location of the property. It was very close to restaurants and grocery stores. As soon as we checked in, we noticed that the toilet was not working. The beds are not too comfortable. There were spring, sticking out or the side of the bed and the mattresses seem worn out.

It was close to the hospital It was great

Location to our destination, highways, restaurants was our main reason for choosing, but there are other hotels in the area to choose for next time No hot water in first room, pool was green and staff sent to clean didn’t appear to know what they were supposed to do, breakfast was late but the eggs looked unappealing anyway.

Poor

The staff was very nice the room nice and clean

Good

Bad

This hotel is my place to stay when in San Antonio

Exceptional

Nice staff Clogged shower. Wrong room given . Breakfast was not very good . Bed linens were rough . Lumpy beds.

Room furniture seemed old and not working in proper condition. Drawers would open themselves with no physical touch. Trash cans around the facility were full and made the hotel look dirty. Additionally while walking to my room the hallway smelled like marijuana. Overall, not a pleasant experience. Will not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it.

The room I rented was not available but they did the best they could to accommodate me.
