Marker 8 Hotel & Marina

Reception was cheerful and helpful. Stayed in a 2nd floor balcony king room. View of the Bridge of Lions was nice. Walked on their dock and enjoyed sea turtles, dolphins and even a large tarpon. Nice breakfast free and easy parking. Stayed here to go to the Amphitheater and it was really convenient

We had a wonderful stay at Marker 8! The balcony view was amazing. I opened the sliding door early in the morning and enjoyed the lovely fresh breeze. I even got to see dolphins playing in the water! The beautiful Bridge of Lions was right in front of us, and the location was a huge bonus. We could easily walk across the bridge to downtown St. Augustine. Breakfast was included, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend staying here!

sand was on our floor for our 2 day stay. yes we did have made service breakfast was NOT good stick to the basic like other hotels are doing but beautiful location pool was so small a big disappointment

The man that checked us in was Awesome! The room was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed the balcony looking out at the water and the bridge. Made to order breakfast was very nice. Can’t wait to go back

Great views, great breakfast, great staff-from the front desk to the housekeeper. We stayed 3 nights and loved this location. The best, most unexpected part was our final departure. I had left 3 of my favorite shirts hanging in the closet. One was an expensive Tommy Bahama shirt, and one had been a gift from my daughter. The housekeeper caught us at our vehicle with them as we were about to head out. I was so grateful, and wished I had gotten her name. All of the staff there were wonderful!

Great little hotel right on the intracoastal. It was easy to walk right over to downtown St. George street where all the shops and restaurants are. The morning breakfast and the nightly happy hour snacks were both excellent. This hotel is very well maintained, clean and has the friendliest staff. Highly recommend and we will definitely return!

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful, good selection and excellent service. The location was perfect, walked across the bridge right into the town. Beautiful views of the boats from our second floor balcony. The only negative, our room was musty, and the AC unit was inconsistent with providing cool air. We didn’t mention it to the manager, honestly, we were busy enjoying all the local history, beaches and wonderful restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Location Mold in 3 rooms that they showed us. We walked into the first room and the mildew smell was so strong. We inspected the room to find black mold on the AC unit. The second room was the same. The third room smelled of strong cleaner and still there was black mold in the AC. We had to cancel our stay and try to find another hotel. Would not recommend for health reasons.
