Edgewater Inn

Repeat customer, love the location, views, and hospitality — so glad Sue was there! Love the special touch of evening social and breakfast casserole in the mornings. It was quiet since it was late Sept so off season and that was actually great! Sitting by the water on the deck or from the breakfast and social hour room to watch the sunset can’t be beat! Sue is such a delight and gave good recommendations to fit our trip - we plan to make it a regular visit at the Edgewater Inn, God willing! Beach is a close by drive, can walk across the bridge to Old Town without having to deal with parking—location is quaint and perfect! I love the view and ambience waterside so much I got eaten by no-see-ums after dusk/night. Seems like there are more people coming by to fish nearby and making noise outside when I’m trying to enjoy my views.

Not super fancy, but very close to everything. Great views of the water and sunsets. Can't beat the price and the staff was amazing. Definitely would stay here again.

The free breakfast was excellent. The happy hour was a very nice touch. There was an odor every time you walked into the room but once you were inside you could no longer smell it.

Clean pretty room, big comfy bed. Great location and fabulous views across the waterway. Definitely coming back!

It's our go-to place in St. Aug. Quick walk across the bridge to downtown and easy drive to the beach or Amp. We usually walk the 2ish miles back from the Amp, don't even have to cross a big road. But that's not for everyone. Available parking is also nice.

The view was incredible and location was great for walking to historic St Augustine. It was exactly what we were looking for in those aspects and was comfortable and quiet. I even was able to take an interview for work on Zoom in the room, so also good Wifi connection. The breakfast was cute as well. Some of the staff could have been friendlier, but overall they were responsive. The beds could have been cleaned better, there were grainy particles and hair in the sheets when we first arrived. Additionally, could benefit from having a microwave in the individual rooms as well for guest comfort.

Being on the water was neat The room smells like urine really bad and the bed was so uncomfortable and it dipped down on the one side so it was so uncomfortable the air conditioner was so loud and made a god awful sound all night long and the room has no curtains so it stays light in room all night long

We traveled here as a couple and the feelings were split. The property location can't be beat. The front exterior does need a refresh and help with curb appeal, especially near the pool. Also, please mark the office location better. Every guest parked near our room and asked for directions lol. The view off the deck is gorgeous and it is conveniently located to everything downtown. Overall the room interior is fairly standard and reasonably clean. The bed was nice and comfy. A microwave would've been nice. The ac worked well but was loud. The exterior lights were noticeable in the room at night, especially because our room had one above our deck. The older gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the lady was gruff and abrupt at each interaction. Breakfast was not good on our days. Maybe it's better other times. The waffle was hard and the casserole rubbery. The social hour was great though. Snacks were good and plentiful! We look forward to possibly revisiting down the road when more renovations are completed.
