i arrived at the property and front door is locked. i arrived around 5:15pm or so, it states front desk is available 9:00am-6:00pm. i had to call, for the person that answered the phone to be confused that i have a reservation. i did book this stay around 2 hours before arrival, which i know is a little last minute, but it shouldn’t be available to book if last minute reservations are an issue. i was told someone will be there to help me within 20-30 minutes. i’ve never had to wait to be checked in, anywhere. when someone arrives they’re talking to someone directing them what to do on speaker phone and are just as confused as i am. i’m then told i need to park my car blocks away and need to follow them to show me. as i’m waiting for them in the temporary parking, more clients come and block the whole lot to where i can’t even leave and have to wait another 20-30 minutes for them to figure it out. finally i’m directed to parking for them to stop in the middle of a street and expect me to read their minds as where i’m supposed to park, and no one is properly communicating or directing me. this was all far too stressful for a simple check in, and won’t stay here again because of it. i was also late to an event with this taking me over an hour to get it all figured out and taken care of, which is another reason i was upset with how long everything took.

Great location. Clean, comfortable rooms. A little outdated, but a great value for the price and a great location. Because they are right in the heart of downtown St Augustine, you do hear the music from your room. We were there during the week, so it stopped around 10. Might be different on the weekends. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

We loved our one night stay here. Rick on the front desk was extremely helpful. When we arrived he upgraded our room to one with a balcony which was fantastic because it looked out over the street which was a lovely spot to sit at night and in the morning. The room was very clean ,had a huge comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. Hotel parking was convenient right across the small street. The location couldn't be better we were right in the heart of the Colonial quarter.

What a completely lovely experience right in the heart of the historic area of St. Augustine. The room was fabulous! We are hesitant to share this gem as it will get crowded with loyal followers. Will definitely be back to such a perfect, well-priced haven. Off season is a great time to visit. Cooler and much less crowded.

Room was clean , reserved a balcony thinking wife could smoke outside but found out rules are no smoking on property, plus 15 dollars charge for parking pass and 10 dollar cleaning fee after reservation , think that should have been up front notice , also parking is off site , overall was a good stay

Location is great. I miss the staff that used to be there. While new owners are nice enough they no longer offer breakfast or afternoon snacks. Bar build in lobby was never open and staff from before was so friendly and always remembered every one

The staff were very helpful, they allowed me to check in early. They were very friendly and a the room was comfortable. The shower was amazing. The only complaint was the parking but that comes from the way St Augustine streets are laid out. I would stay there again.

Carpets old and dirty looking bathtub was old, stained, leaking, and when water turned on brown rust colored water came out.

Location and staff were excellent. Rooms are quaint but we'll kept with each having good variety. Will stay again if we visit St Augustine for more than a night

Clean, helpful staff, great location. Parking was away from the hotel but a quick walk.

The location was great . The room was small the lighting was terrible , a few bulbs were out and blinking like a disco . The bathroom was not updated the toilet had a leak and mold around it . I woke up in the middle of the night very thirsty and there was not even a cup to get a drink of water

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was so close to everything historical we wanted to see,as well as local nightlife. The staff was kind and offered us fresh baked cookies. The staff hospitality, robes and plush bedding made us feel like we were staying at a spa.

Property was very nice and clean. Great location. Only disadvantage was the parking is about a block and a half away. However, once you park you don't need your car anyway. Overall beautiful place

Haven't stayed in many years, but it still has the nostalgia that it had back then. Very much enjoyed it.
