The staff went above and beyond. There were 2 ladies at the front desk that were both very helpful and offered extra assistance (I had a fractured ankle). I wish I could remember their names to give them personal credit for being so kind. Nothing

Love this hotel! Within close proximity to Mayo Clinic. Very clean, comfortable beds and great amenities. Our number one go to when we stay in Rochester.

It was THE QUIETEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I cannot sleep to save my life - even at home - and I slept like a baby both nights of my stay. Clean, modern, great amenities and a friendly staff. Can’t recommend enough and will be staying any time I visit Rochester!

Short stay but property was better than most. Plus it's walking distance to the Canadian Honker restaurant!

2. The room was very large (it almost echoed), but very spartan and sterile. No decoration, just painted sayings on the wall like, " Sleep well. Live better." It was furnished with one king bed, a desk, and one desk chair. No easy chair. No couch. Instead, a couple has to lay in the bed to watch TV together (and there's not a lot to do in Rochester but watch TV). Incredibly, they stuck a Peloton in the room instead of a couch or an easy chair, despite the fact that I never saw the three Peloton's in the exercise room ever being used by anybody. My request for an extra chair was refused -- I was told they didn't have any. 3. In the lobby, the "restaurant's menu was very limited and the food was not very good. There was absolutely no sound-absorbing material in the lobby which magnified all sounds, and the lighting was cold and glaring. Not a pleasant place to be. One of the most poorly designed and thought-out hotels in which I have ever stayed. How it gets an "exceptional" rating is anyone's guess.

This is a safe bet. Very clean and nice rooms, near hospital, everything you need in lobby, food, etc. nice lobby and outdoor terrace to relax.

Hotel itself was really nice and clean. However, the restaurant/breakfast was disappointing, the serving staff were not helpful and got our order wrong. Food was disappointing too. Waitress literally said hope the food is okay, I don’t want to send it back to the cook cause he’ll get mad and won’t redo it. Don’t waste your money on dining downstairs just go out to eat.

Service was poor but food was good. Coffee bar wasn’t well tended to. Coffee ran out & supplies ran low. Staffing during breakfast hours wasn’t adequate. Took too long to get breakfast. Coffee bar wasn’t well stocked and coffee ran out. Not a good breakfast experience.

Exceptional

The property was clean, they had friendly staff, and the city view room was large and had great views! We would stay here again!

The night staff (Affinity) was super helpful to me checking in late. She was quite friendly and cool!
