For a 4-star hotel, this DoubleTree had a lot of issues. One of the elevators was out of service. The hotel advertised a heated indoor pool, but it wasn't heated at all. The property is quite dated, and on the second day of our stay we discovered the in-room refrigerator had been unplugged and turned off, so we had to throw away the food we'd stored in it. They did fix it after we complained. The biggest disappointment was the pool: my daughter was so excited to swim, but the water was too cold for her to go in. With all these problems with the amenities, I'm not sure how this hotel still holds a 4-star rating

Would not recommend staying here. We were put on the top floor in room 804. On our second night of being there, the adjoining room next to us was loud and partying, we heard every word and called the front desk 4 times asking if they could do something about the noise since we were trying to sleep. They kept telling us security was going to be sent up. On the fifth call, I was told security was not going to go visit the room as it was a “hospitality room” next to us and it ended up being a frat party that would go till midnight. In no surprise, the noise went way past midnight and we barely slept. The staff was also really rude as I had one receptionist laugh at me for calling again for a resolution. The only solution they offered was to have us move rooms at 11pm. All of our stuff had been unpacked so I had asked if it was possible to have a room to sleep but leave our stuff in the other room and they refused. In addition to that, the room was not clean. Several hairs in the tub upon our arrival made it an unpleasant experience. The only thing I’d say was ok was that the bed was comfortable. Even so, would not recommend staying here. We ended up getting a refund for the night of the party through Expedia, but I can’t believe we had to spend money on the other 2 nights of our stay. This hotel should be free that’s how unpleasant it is

Friendly, professional staff. Convenient parking
-
The only thing is the fitness room is a bit small that doesn’t fit more than 3 or 4 guests.

The building is run down and the rooms are not well maintained for the price. Plus you have to pay for parking. They say it’s $10 per day but they charge tax so it’s really $13 per day.
