I stay here every year for an industry event. The gentleman that runs catering for on-site events is amazing! He and his team sincerely care when it comes to food service. And the catered food provided never disappoints. The property itself is in an ideal location. It is very convenient to get around if using as a homebase for visiting Portland metro as well. The rates are reasonable as well, especially based on location. The only negative is the $31 per-day parking fee. Like come on, don't penalize people for a city that isn't as walkable as some.

Nice hotel with convenient red line service making getting to many of the neighborhoods in Portland easy to manage.

Rooms were clean but just older bathrooms etc (cracked tiles for instance).

Close to Moda

The refrigerator was broken sitting outside of the room. There was no microwave the air conditioner had one setting which was very very cold . The coffee maker was broken .

Great staff!!

Comfortable and clean. Long but easy walk to Moda Center, shorter walk to Convention Center. Overnight parking easy to figure out. Excellent customer service. Comfortable bed. No traffic or train noise. Breakfast was expensive so didn't try. Walls were thin. Night had comic con and Weezer guests. I heard either porn or someone having loud sex late at night for 3 hours straight and had trouble falling asleep... not hotel's fault.

Staff was super helpful and kind While the building is older, it is well maintained Super close to trains and buses, getting to and from downtown and the airport is super easy.

We abruptly had to leave a different hotel we were staying at because the room had a big leak in the bathroom coming from the light. We were able to get a very nice room at Doubletree and it was clean and bigger. The staff was so friendly and the waitress Tracy at the restaurant was very friendly as well. We have decided this will be the hotel we stay at in the future, never going back to that other one!!

Parking was nice, being able to park in a garage made me feel like my car was safe. The restaurant was pretty pricey and not the best experience for us. I ordered chili cheese fries and I was given french fries with ketchup, when it was given to me, she said, sorry we are out of chili…no opportunity to order something else, I asked for a salad instead and was told that the kitchen would be mad, if she sent another order to them. That was frustrating. Hotel itself was nice and clean. No fridge or microwave in the room either. Just a few things that would have been helpful for any snacks or leftovers that you may want to eat later. We were also told that housekeeping is only done on the 3rd day, which was fine, we checked in pretty late, like 10:30pm and were woken up at 7:30 the next morning to housekeeping knocking on our door to ask if we needed service… which I though was odd.
