Courtyard Portland Downtown/Convention Center

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous! The gym was well-equipped. THE WIFI was terrible - it was impossible to conduct work. Not having the restaurant open for dinner was disappointing.

I loved how close this property was to the convention center - definitely walkable. However, we reserved an ada room with a rollaway bed (we had 3 people total in the room), and all that was provided for our third person was a small air mattress. No other option was provided since the hotel was pretty booked up. The ada room was also a little snug for a wheelchair but we made it work. Lastly, a dirty wash rag was found hanging over the shower rod.

Staff was excellent, very responsive when items or help was needed. Stayed her for an event at Moda, it was close which was nice. Walking to the event was fine, walking back after dark felt very sketchy. Parking was terrible and felt unsafe, you can pay to valet park and that was full. There are a small amount of spots in front of the the hotel on the road and other than that, you have to park fair away or around the block with some interesting people around.

Parking situation was not pleasant, especially since my partner is disabled. We parked on the street thinking we could use his disabled pass for "payment" and ended up getting a ticket 15mins before the 5pm deadline on Friday. The couch in the room was very uncomfortable. It needs pillows on the back that go all the way up the back.

Nice location, pretty quiet around the area, the valet parking was helpful, so you don’t have to worry about your cars. There are tons of coffee shops around the area as well and fast food chain..
