SureStay InnSuites Phoenix Hotel & Suites by Best Western

Location is great. Quiet. Close to the 51 making it easy to go anywhere. Became a Sure Stay so people are living here. Maintenance man was “working” by the pool drinking his glass bottle of malt liquor. Jacuzzi was filthy, didn’t seem to be any effort to clean it either. The breakfast has gone downhill I imagine due to it becoming a Sure Stay. Not one hot breakfast. I’ve stayed here prior to this trip and it was way better. Cleaner. Full breakfast. No maintenance staff drinking on the job (before noon). Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Location Bathroom didn't work, shower didn't work, toilet wasn't secure

Bad

Easy access to highway. Clean. Typical breakfast. Pool. Ice Machines did not work while we were there. No elevator, but only 2 story so the stairs were not bad.

The toilet needed to have plunger held down to flush correctly and then pulled back up. No lotion but shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Conditioner wall mount was broken. Room has refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine.

Very good

The room was clean, but that’s as far as the positives went. The tv remotes did not work, no hair dryer, and the light switches didn’t work. This was akin to a Motel and not up to the standards I expect from Best Western.

people homeles eating there

The room was mostly clean, not enough towels. No Breakfast after it was advertised as having a breakfast. The Staff wasn't as helpful as in the past stays.

The room was ok, but as clean and well maintained like the pictures say. It said free breakfast there was actually nothing avaliable. The machine for the waffle was not working the only thing I got for breakfast was coffee.

The room was very clean when I entered. It was quiet. I didn’t eat the breakfast. The pool and hot tub were disgusting. The AC controls didn’t work so it was either freezing or hot.

Exceptional

Room was okay, a little tired and in need of some repairs and upgrade. A/C worked well, so this was great as it was so hot when i stayed. Staff were ok, not particularly helpful. People using the swimming pool outside my room until 1am, so it was a little noisy. Breakfast is not so good here.

Good

Ice machine across from my room was out of order, Had to walk 20 minutes to find other ice machine in 115 degree heat

Ice machine was not working, but it was 112 in Phoenix, so that might be why. Ice was available in the front office at the buffet.

3 phone calls to inform them. Told at checkout there was no maintenance available. No body wash or shampoo in the shower. Told housekeeping would come by. As far as I know housekeeping never fixed issue. Upon checkout I was told they came by. I was there all afternoon waiting to shower.and didn't hear a peep at my door. Wi-Fi login provided didn't exist. Room clean.vending machine stocked. Thats about it.

Great location, good price, friendly and helpful staff. Some rooms could use a little care for minor wear-n-tear fixes. Overall still a good place to stay.
