Our shower did not work, so they moved us after check-in. The replacement room was considerably smaller than the original. Each room has an excellent coffee maker, but only artificial creamers. The coffee was quickly tepid when the creamers were added, and the room had no microwave. When we requested a microwave we were told that no microwaves were available. In our opinion the mattresses were too soft. We both awoke with sore backs.

Cute, boutique hotel, but could be so much better. They had just been acquired by Hilton apparently and the front desk staff had not been trained adequately on the new systems so checking in, getting keys was quite awkward. After a struggle checking us in, the keys we were given did not work. We had to go back down to the front desk for help, where we were treated as if if we were "bothering" the staff (and I stay staff reluctantly, it was one, very grumpy lady we dealt with the whole time we were there). Parking was SO awkward. They offer valet, but you had to pull into a garage entry space that was opposite in the entry and exit (You had to park on the left - or the exit - before an attendant would come out - where no one actually came anyway and we had to go inside and request help, which turned out to be the same lady who was annoyed with us for asking for help with the keys). The next day, we parked as instructed, but when we walked into take the elevator to our room, the same rude lady asked if we could "move our vehicle" so an employee could come to work and park in the garage? Room was ok, somewhat clean, my GF left her glasses in the room when we checked out. Getting help from the lost and found after we got home proved utterly worthless. Routed and rerouted to unhelpful and non-english speaking staff (multiple calls over a three week period). Traveler beware. The hotel has charm and potential, but would not stay here again.

The hotel dearly needs updating. I was put in a room that had steps in the middle of my room and was not told about this when checking in. Tripped a few times over the course of the week. On day two someone at the front desk said I could move, but was already unpacked. The halls felt dark and dank. Not particularly clean and not good parking unless one valets. Hotel was out of prosecco and two kinds of beer from their short list. All in all, not a fan.

The location, hotel design, amenities such as the Lounge & Dining Room are wonderful! Staff is superb!

Front staff were excellent. SHILO was friendly, engaging and offered the history of the building and suggestions for Monarch dinner entrees. Oooops, toilet was clogged.neither of us had used it yet. Body wash was empty in shower. I informed front desk.

We've eaten breakfast there on prior trip which wasn't very good, so we skipped it this time. We're coming back thru town and don't want room 606 again, but we're staying here.

We couldn’t use our in-room phone to call guest services or front desk. We just got a busy tone. We were in Rm 500.

great hotel!!!

We enjoyed that the hotel was in a great location. Well decorated.

Asked for a high floor and was placed on the top floor with a corner room with windows on 2 sides, great views of downtown! Room was immaculate! It had 2 comfy chairs, refrigerator and Nespresso coffee machine! Nice bar and restaurant, however I got there too late to experience! Valet parking was reasonable priced and didn’t have to worry about parking!

Stay away. Poor management, old property and needs major updates. Not conveniently located either. I will never stay here again. Service level was low grade. Towels missing and had to go down after several requests were ignored and getvtowels from the front desk. Management not on property either. We had 4 rooms for business travel. Not a place for business folks.

Amazing hotel! Our room air conditioning wasn’t working when we arrived. The staff moved us to a different room and gave us breakfast for free the next morning. During our stay, the staff was great. I would stay there again!

Clean and comfortable Room door didn’t seal well so hallway noise is loud

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Spoke with hotel for shuttle service from airport. They said they put us down for the 2pm shuttle, which was over an hour after our flight. So we waited and then met shuttle, where they said they didn't have room for us. If we wanted to wait 30-45 mins they would be back for us. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the airport shuttle. We ended up ubering. Which we could have done an hour earlier had we known. I had spoken with the hotel in person twice about shuttle service. So very disappointed. No apology or compensation offered.
