Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown/Old Market Area

We have stayed multiple times - friendly staff and clean location. All we are looking for is right there.

The location is great next to the park, close to Old Market, but there were cars racing or nothing until 1a.

Staff at front desk were very friendly and kind. The parking was close to the hotel but very unsafe feeling. Inside the lobby was bright, welcoming, and comfortable. The hallways and room were grungy, unclean, and also unsafe feeling. We were two young girls that stayed and I would not recommend it. And on top of not being at ease, the TV didn’t work and the noise from the roads was so, so loud. We didn’t sleep at all. Staff was kind but way too much money for an unpleasant stay.

Everything was satisfactory. The staff was really helpful!

The room was great, and the location was perfect. Downtown Omaha has lots to offer, so this was a great place to stay close to everything.

Everything was fine, except all of the noise from downtown traffic. They need better soundproofing. I couldn't sleep at all.

My main issue, however, is that the property seriously needs upgrades and better maintenance. The bed felt very old and springy, which made it difficult to get a comfortable, restful night’s sleep. The bed frame was also extremely loud, and when I accidentally dropped my phone underneath the bed, I noticed that some of the individual supports holding the bed up were broken and leaning sideways. The bathroom also needed some attention. Several of the floor tiles appeared to be lifting, and I actually tripped slightly while entering the bathroom. The shower knob that you have to pull out to turn the shower on was very worn and difficult to use. The carpet appeared quite old and could definitely benefit from a thorough cleaning. When I dropped my phone under the bed, I also noticed two partially deflated balloons underneath it. That made me question how thoroughly the rooms are being cleaned between guests, especially in areas that may not be immediately visible. Would I stay here again? Unfortunately, no. A good night’s sleep is one of the most important parts of staying at a hotel, and if I cannot sleep comfortably, it's hard to justify staying again.
